Default Fitment with Koyorad Radiator, Fans, and Supercharger Pully

Hello,

First post here. I have been on this forum for a while, just never made an account. I purchased the HKS V2 supercharger kit a few weeks back and all the appropriate supporting cooling mods I would need to boost my 05 de. Something that I am trying to plan out, and was not able to find the answer to, is if I can run the Koyorad Hyper V (which I already bought) with the stock fans and still fit the HKS supercharger kit? From the research I have done, the stock fans are actually more powerful than the Mishimoto ones, and it would save me some money of course. But, the Mishimoto ones are thinner from what I understand. If I can run the stock ones, I would like to.

Any help is appreciated

I believe that Jim just went through about every thing you bring up. This and his build thread have a ton of well documented info about it.

I've got the HKS GTS8555 kit installed on my G35, Koyo radiator and stock fans/shroud. Fits up fine but I did trim the top plastic a bit. I cant remember if I needed to or just it made it easier to install with the core support already on the car.

Thank you both! I forgot to reply but this was a huge help. I did end up buying a set of mishimoto fans to hopefully help give a little space to service any belts. What type of power did you see on your gt8555? Mine should be here within the next couple weeks, very excited.

Did you read either of the responses? Ill summarize... If you're boosted, do not use mishimoto fans and expect to stay cool in a hot climate. This will be especially prevalent at low speeds and traffic.

Ended up with the stock fans just like he had, they work good. I had a fan relay go out a month ago which was weird, but I havent had any problems with temps. Sold the mishimoto fans on marketplace.

I have a mishimoto oil cooler installed already, so I am going to have to figure out where to mount that to the side so its not in the way of the radiator or intercooler.
