I have a 2003 350z with only a Tomei cat back exhaust, intake, and a plenum spacer. I'm thinking about getting the JWT Twin Turbo Kit. I'm wondering what else I would need to get around 450-500Hp? I would get it tuned when I get it installed but I'm wondering what other parts, here's what I was thinking of getting so far but not sure how much HP it would equal too:
Deatschwerks VQ Drop In Injectors (660 cc),
Walbro 255 lph Fuel Pump,
CMJ Return Fuel Correction Kit,
JWL Clutch and Fly Wheel.
Please let me know if these are bad choices or if I should get them and more, thanks!
Edit: After doing some more research and reading the reply's I just wanted to add this in: I was curious to see what was needed to get 500HP, but I think going for 400-450HP is more what I'm going for, because I want to add power without giving up to much reliability (obviously adding a turbo has its risks), I've read that a stock 350z can handle 430HP without effecting the longevity of the engine, but I want to get some upgraded parts just to be safe so its more reliable.
Edit 2: I would delete this thread but I don't know if I can lol, I'm going to go with a single turbo kit, I looked into Turbonetics but everyone seems to say that the quality is bad and its outdated, lots of people on the forums say to get the PowerLab kit but I don't think they make it anymore. Lots of people also said to go with the Boosted Performance Kit but I couldn't find a website then I found out they just Instagram and Facebook so I thinking I'm going to go with that, it even comes with a fuel pump, injectors, and UpRev if anyone else is interested.

Reason: missing info
I'm going to get hate but I don't care. Boosting any engine that wasn't designed for it is a bad idea and the cost to power gain is going to be backwards. I love this engine because it has low end torque but its obvious it doesn't hold power well. At this point its about to be 2022 and the 2jz swap kits and info are easily sourced and is not going to be that much more expensive than twin turbo building this to 500hp. It might actually be cheaper, that turbo kit is 7 grand... damn. You can reliably daily drive 30 lbs of boost @ over 60/lbs per min and rev to 8k on a stock 2jz, they also actually have adjustable cam gears unlike this thing, good luck getting the max out of a boosted top end without fully adjustable cam gears. We have the desired drivetrain at least.
2j... eew what are you TJ Hunt? There should only be 2 reasons to swap:
1. You want 800hp+
2. You need a reliable engine that can handle racing like drifting and stuff like that.
VQ is more than enough for a street car

go single turbo … far superior … 1/2 the cost and 1/2 the complexity.
can you lower your goals to 400hp to 450hp?
If so so, you can do this relatively inexpensively.
660cc injectors and a 250lph pump are gonna get you around 450hp… jump up to a AEM 300lph and 1000cc injectors and you’ll likely need to add a return fuel system.
how are you tuning?
add an oil cooler

to an extent…
any engine is going to benefit from an increased volumetric efficiciency (such as a turbo, supercharger, or n2o) -
you can take the VQ in its naturally aspirated state and make 400 to 450hp for $5k to $7k all in and run it to 200k miles with normal upkeep & maintenance.
I don’t think youre going to JZ swap anything, plus upgrades, swap costs, headaches, fueling, tuning, etc for under $10k.
the VQ has great low end torque (especially the DE) and add FI and you’ll have great top end power.
oem heads/cams are rumored to flow up to 700hp?
DEs have variable intake cams while the rev-ups and HRs have both variable intake and exhaust …
funny how everyone is using the CD009 in their builds…
i am going to be the first to say it...... dreamer thread, the kid is 18, only been driving for a couple years and thinks he can handle 500 whp. hell my car is just barely (like .6 hp) below 500 and it is alot for me
Once you've got all that and can apply all of the driving skills to the now enhanced car, then mo'power. Think about it. Go fast stuff before the car and driver can handle it? Uhhhh. That's not sexy, it's stupid. (Other than on social, apparently.)
Thank you for the info, I would be tuned by UpRev, what single turbo kit do you recommend? the reason I was kind of wanting to go with the JWL Twin Turbo is because I've read that it is reliable and that twin turbos are better for daily driving.

I said 500Hp to see what I would need in order to achieve that, but 400-450 would be plenty.
and i will also ask, how many miles on this tired old motor?
There's 88K. I'm the third owner, the first owner was an older man who by the sounds of it from the previous owner didn't abuse it and according to the carfax was very well maintained, then the person I bought it from had kids a year after he got it and didn't put many miles on it the last few years so he sold it (which the carfax shows). It was completely stock other than brand new tires when I got it so to me it was taken care of very well.
