First off not trying to flame or start any trouble.

Need some advice; I have recently purchased my Greddy Kit from Altered Atmosphere here in Maryland. And I did a quick search on them (here on the forum) and found that they did not have many favorable reviews; and it has me questioned if I should get my install done by them or have it installed somewhere else. Has anyone had any dealings with them that they want to share?

Don't, do not, go to Altered Atmosphere. They are douche bags. Use someone else in your area, you have alot to choose from. They bent me over and gave it to me hard, I guess you can say. I got long d*cked. They f*cked my car up, blew my motor, jerked me off etc.. I can go on and on but I guess I made my point. Just don't go there.

 

LOL, geez you really feel strongly about AA don't you. Never used them, but just from what they did to Ravaz alone would be enough to say stay away. However, didn't they blow up 2 engines???

 

Yeah mine and someone else. Actually, they screwed another guys Supra up in my area I heard too, car ran all screwed up, of course there are other terrible stories. Also when I went there to pick my mess up, 3 cars got broken into in their parking lot, smashed up, abused etc.. Mike was lucky when I went to pick my car up he wasn't there, ***** Hey Mike, next time I come through Maryland, we should have some tea together, ***.

 

Thanks for your input. Anyone else? I’m going to give Mike a call tomorrow and voice some of my concerns I just don’t want anything bad to happen to my car. Did they try to make good/fix your problem?

 

Seriously, Mike will BS you. I'm not one to ruin someones buisness, but they cost me alot of money and time. Did they do good? F*ck no. I had to buy a used motor and do the install myself because my car was at their shop for almost 4 months in the way back collecting dust. They did not return calls, e-mails, nothing. You should call Evolution Motorsports, I think they are located in Chantilly VA. Hey if you call Mike tomorrow, tell him Bill from Raleigh says f*ck you.

I would like to second the above positive opinion about Evolution in Chantilly, VA. Very near MD. My 350Z is factory ordered and ETA is April 2 so I haven't used Evolution yet, but I have heard good reports from several sources. I have spoken to Jeff and he was very thorough answering my questions and I get good vibes about him and the shop. Jeff was very enthusiastic and pragmatic with his recommendations, but my impression is that he is a real straight shooter as well. (I have a pretty efficient seat of the pants BS detector from long experience with performance cars of various genres.) I am very much considering using Evolution myself for FI installation after I get a few break in miles on my 350Z.

 

I read ravaz's whole story back when he was having problems and man just reading that I would never ever go to this place. This is what the forum is here for, us to learn from each other, as ravaz put it. So we don't "get long d*cked".

 

A company that has blown up multiple 350Z should stop and not install blowers on 350Z anymore - period.........LOL......

That one shop is like 25-30 percent of all failures......NOT GOOD!

evolution did my greddy, not to mention a lot of other work. the guys there are all good dudes. don't go anywhere else. i live in md, so pm me if you have any other questions.

 

During a dyno tune my intercooler pipe came off my Evo. Altered charge 150 to weld it back and it came back off on the way home. Anyway, if you are in College Park area try Swift Racing.

They typically work on Lexus/Toyota and started on the Z. They are putting the Greddy TT in my Z and an intake on my G35 coupe. Ask for Muhamed. His IS300 (800 HP) was in several mags and he is a Greddy vendor.

Go to Evolution Autosports(703.961.9090) I just had my JICs installed by them. Btw Steve and Jeff they make sure you are satisfied. Jonathen(the head mech) is very knowledgable and thorough. He took his time to explain the setup and how to adjust it. I know they've installed a few Vortech's there on some Z's as well...Good luck w/your Greddy.
