I dont doubt Mo's abilities in the least but ill let the posts an .NET inform you.

Or you could save your time and just read my post which summarizes it entirely.

Local customer? Good
Distant customer? Bad

Everyone in the DC area that's had Mo tune/mod their IS300 is very happy. People that have ordered his kits or shipped their cars to him and back have been less than satisfied.

I doubt any tuner has made everyone happy. There will always be a few dissatisfied customers.

As far as AAM goes, if Mike's the one doing your tuning, it should be fine. I've seen a few reports of people less than happy with the workmanship of some parts they've fabricated or installed, or with the pricing, but I know Mike's a competent tuner.

I realize you cant make everyone happy , but damn, there is like a 50/50 ratio of bad to good. I guess if you enjoy taking a crap shoot on the reliability of your 30k dollar car , its your choice.

Mike at AA did me right and took calls from me on his cell at late hours and even gave me support after the sale.

He didn't do my install we all know how that turned out anyways but he gave me a good price shipped it out and took calls later.

My car on FI is hitting over 130mph on a Dynojet in 4th BTW and I just assume not do that, it can be tuned other ways unless you want a huge dyno number, my car was road tuned by Techtom!

my 333rwhp dyno was done in 3rd gear..........does that mean in 4th gear it would be higher HP or lower HP? I noticed Zimbo did his in 3rd gear and it was 325rwhp and then did it in 4th gear and it was 355rwhp???

It should be higher in the 1-1 gear you have a 6MT Kevin so that is 5th gear for A5T's it is 4th.

Most naturally aspirated cars will make similar power on the dynojet in 3rd gear and 4th gear. High horsepower turbo cars, like the Supra, will make more power in 4th vs. 3rd because there is more time for the motor to load per rpm acceleration (more time to jam air into the cylinders at each rpm point!).

I haven't seen a huge difference (more than 10hp) on my 350Z or most other 350Z's with supercharger between 3rd, 4th or 5th gear. I've actually seen lower numbers in 5th gear some cases (probably mainly due to more heat in/from the motor/supercharger from the longer run).

Hope this helps,

Yes, you will definately make more power in 4th gear instead of 3rd. The difference between 4th and 5th is immaterial.
