Hey guys anyone from denver here? tuning shops in denver?
So It looks like im going to have to drive to califorinia or something to get my z hopped up!!?? Is anybody from Denver or anywhere in Colorado and if so do you know any shops doing greddy tt kits? thanks any help would be great!
Ask here, www.highaltitudeimports.com. It's a great Colorado area forum. Plenty of cool, knowledgeable people. There are at least 3 350Z owners that frequent the board. We'll get you hooked up. Good luck.
thanks for the info guys! you know auto sport werks in broomfield has done quite a few rs4 conversions on s4's and there are a bunch of highly modded m3's and porsches rolling out of their shop. kind of cool one of the best audi/bmw/porsche tuners in the country is right here in broomfield! any way our z cars can and MUST be faster !!!! thats what i think is so cool about the 350 z you can bolt on a vortec or procharger for like 5- or 6 grand and run in the 12's for my s4 i used to have it would take 15-20 grand...ouch!!! and then you have the 350z tt kits! it seems on a daily baisis somebody on the forum is getting more power from these tt kits it will be pretty sweet to see who takes it to the next level with a built motor and how much power it can make!!! sounds like nobody in colorado has the tt setup yet!(besides the boulder nissan car) well based on the info i got here ill call around and check out these shops round town the plan is to get the tt kit this winter while the car will be parked anyway due to the snow!!!!!
I got some of my first mods done at the shop which used to be right next to them (Japanese Automotive Motorsports). I've seen some crazy cars in that parking lot... BUT.... I havent actually approached them about any kind of F/I for the Z, but word on the street is they kinda hold their head high in regards to working on imports. All I've ever seen is Euro's which lead me to believe this news... But I suppose you can always give em a call
yeah i had my s4 worked on there they do great work but the s4 is just way too much money th make it go fast as far as i know people have spent in excess of 30k on their s4's and still cant get close to 11's. based on your info i called boulder nissan and they suprised me in having a huge offering of 350z mods and they are building a crazy z car of their own! they have built the motor in their car with .20 over forged pistons and forged rods and as i was talking to one of the techs he said their first dyno was today and it hit 507 rwhp! i hope they wouldnt mind me posting this info but it sounds like they are really in to it and are building a g35 for a customer right now. they said the set up should run 25psi of boost on the built motor!!!!!! anyway ill have to take a peep at whats going on down there but it sounds like the most powerful z ive heard of is right there in the peoples republic of boulder!!!

yeah that's their track Z we should go check it out this weekend haha. Last time I went to scope it out their garage was closed, but that was when they were putting the turbo's on. I forgot to mention the internals part, that car is going to be very very sick
.
.
I'll see if they can share the dyno's and hopefully get some pics to post. I can't remember what parts they used, IE if thes internals were those offered by SGP?
I'll have to find out considering it's only a few miles from me.

Boulder Nissan is a great shop; they seem to be VERY mod-friendly.
Tynan's in Aurora also seems to be mod-friendly and has a good reputation here.
Autosport Werks in Broomfield is a good place to go for track helmets/gloves/fluids/etc, but as has been stated, their techs will only work on Porsche, Audi, and BMW. It's just not their business to work on Japanese cars. If asked, though, they refer Japanese imports to Japanese Automotive Specialist, which has moved a few blocks south of 120th.

yea juztin i will get there soon i ve got to see this twin turbo car of theirs the tech said they will be putting on a veilside version 3 body kit on the car with the over fender kit to accomodate 315's in the rear as traction is a major problem of course. the pistons they are using are sgp racing .20 over forged 8.5 to 1 comp. they are using pauter rods which i thing are sgp's as well.

i dont know what the greddy mitsu turbos are capeable of but boulder nissan says this engine setup will boost 25 psi!!!! also with forged internals maybe the car will redline 7500 8000 rpm??? maybe with a built motor power enterprise may be the way to go with the ball bering turbo setup or aps looks like they are working on a pretty sweet set up due out in september using garret ball bering turbos.
I've got to convince theese guys to post their r&d on this forum as they are running the greddy setup and im sure this car of theirs will show the greddy setups max potential!!!!
