you still have to drill a hole. there is no hole on the oil pan.

If I hadn't already drilled the oilpan, I would get this instead.

Default JWT pan

Bigern1970 is that a pic you shot at the JWT shop?
If so , got any more?
Any more info on when the full TT kit will be released?

I was thinking the same thing. No other FI kit out there empties above the oil line. This is the option available for the JWT turbo, the PE turbo empties to the top of the pan and the Greddy the same. Why would this not work for Vortech ?

Actually its on their site. I saw it in person, and verified that the spacer you see is for the sole purpose for adding more oil. The picture with the return line is the example of how the spacer will fit.I talked to Ben Pilas today at JWT, he said they are not going to sell the TT return version as of now, who know maybe in the future they willl..By the way the spacers are on 3 week back order

Talked to JWT today the spacer would have to be modified, because they are not releasing the TT oil return version separately

Question still remains ...

If you were to drill the spacer instead of the oil pan, use the Vortech supplied return, why would this not work ? I have been looking for a way to n ot drill the oil pan for some time. I am just about ready to order the PE or ARC oil pan and drill the top of it out and put the Vortech return in it. This is MUCH less expensive !!!

Default oil return

That adapter is part of the solution on the oil "feed" side.

What people are looking for is a bolt on solution on the "drain" side.

If you buy the JWT "NA" pan extender, not only should it be drilled and tapped , but a a "j-pipe" must be fitted inside to get the drain point above the oil level. Apparently this is exactly what JWT does in the TT kit. If Vortech adopted this solution, it would attract a few more DIY buyers.

Technically this will give the oil a return path to the pan but, I don't think it is a good idea after reading this thread again. The Vortech oil return is a gravity drain line. If it is below the oil level that *may* mean that the oil will not drain properly, or quickly enough, from the SC head unit allowing oil to get very hot inside the SC and break down. My 2¢.
