Default Any more info on JWT TT????

I have been following the JWT TT project and hear of a release date around August. However, all I see are pictures and applications for the G35. Are they working a kit for Z cars? or are they going to release the G35 TT first? Any info would be great. I think I will be in the TT market this summer!!!

Thanks,
Steve

I think Big Ern posted that when he went there and spoke to them, they said they are releasing the G35 kit first, and then the 350z kit will follow a couple of months later. Can you confirm this Big Ern? I am anxious for this kit also, and I have a G35coupe. When I spoke to them they said the price will be in the mid to high 6k range, and it won't be released for the G35 until about the end of the summer. I posted this in an earlier post so you might've read this info already. They told me they're doing the ECU with the kit and the 400hp that they claim on their website is at the crank, not the wheels. So that's about 340whp. I'm not sure what psi the kit is set at.

they will release the 350z kit or at least are shooting fr it late fall. G35 kit will be out this summer but right now they are working on emission compliance so it will take some time. Their kit will not require any piggy back solution which is nice.

I am holding out for this kit. I like the greddy, just not the part of removing the front bumper to install the intercooler. The JWT unit looks like they spent some time making it fit and not look so out of place! Thanks for the info!

Default Expanding the TT market

It will be very interesting to see the strengths of the JWT TT kit as compared to the Greddy and PE kits. As time goes on the kits coming onto the market should be more complete. Don't forget the APS kit that should be out this year also! Anyone have any updates concerning that kit?

Yes, JWT has my attention as well. Their design for use with the stock bumper (stealth!) on the G35 (my car) is a big plus. I'm curious how they're going to manage fuel and/or timing. If I go ahead with FI I'm going to leave it at their standard tuned level. This is my daily driver and I don't need it on the bleeding edge. Come on JWT. I'm dyin' for your kit!

Looks like all of us interested are in Northern CA......maybe some sort of deal we can work out to help with testing of their equipment and tracking progress since we could all meet and dyno together or something like that!!! Even get a group discount in the install and tune fo the systems...

Scuba Steve, I'm with you on the front bumper support being removed. I didn't get the Greddy for that reason, and also don't want the E-manage hooked up in my car. I have the stock navi so that spot is taken, and I don't want it hooked up anywhere else. It also bothers me that the air bag sensor has to be relocated. I know it's supposedly moved right near the original place but still, it is moved. So if I get into an accident, my front brace is missing and my airbag may not go off. I also wanted BB turbos which Greddy doesn't have. Not to criticize Greddy's kit because I do like it, I'm just holding out for JWT because of they're reputation with Nissan's and because of what people have seen so far of the kit. It supposedly looks like an oem kit that fits like a glove. I'm in NY, otherwise I'd be joining you guys in Cali to test out this kit. Damn.

Default JWT in Nor cal

I too have a G35C-6MT in Nor Cal and am awaiting the results from JWT.

When out, it will be a toss up between the JWT and the Greddy.
If i go greddy I'll change the bumper cover and add a steel brace to replace the factory alumimum box member.

WRT to JWT I am also interested on growth potential to(400-450rwhp) on stock pistons, forged rods . This requires at least a BOV and an added fuel control + timing retard. At this point I haven't heard how Fuel and timing are controlled. I did hear that factory injectors were retained , so a Rising rate regulator is probably supplied. This being the case +400rwhp may be beyond the default Fueling method (ie a piggy back needed for expansion).

Yep the G in summertime and the Z in the fall. I think it will be worth the wait, Your number are right on, As far as the Z they just have to redesign the piping since there is only 1 air duct on the z and 2 on the G, I have personally seen the Greddy and the JWT. I like JWT. but the Greddy seems to be putting grins on peeps faces as well, I was told 6800k for the JWT. Lets wait and see

Ditto. I don't want to risk injury to me or my family for hp. I'll be waiting for a turbo that doesn't require removal of safety features. I'm so ready though!!

I too am waiting on JWT, although I am not holding my breath since they went approximately 6 years without updating the website.

BB turbos are nice but I have driven several TD-05 Z32's and they are very nice turbos. The real reason its worth the wait for JWT is the hope that they get the ECU wired like they did with the Z32. All piggyback fuel management solutions will have problems with higher boost/fuel flow.

JWT makes a great product. I am pretty sure that the people waiting for it will not be disappointed.
