Default PRofec E-01 External Signal Harness

Have a question on the External Signal Harness.
I am going to be using this to read my A/F ratio on my e-01.
Which wires do I tap into to do this ?

How many other sensors can I use for this one harness to display reading on the e-01 ?
Like would I also be able to use it to read fuel pressure as well ?
If so, how ?

Thanks

It has two analog inputs. You can read whatever as long as the signal is linear and you know the conversion. I am reading the AFR from my wideband, I just connected the 5vdc output line to the Analog input 1 on the e-01 and configure the conversion rate. If you have an electronic fuel pressure sender hooked up you should be able to tap into the signal from it and read it on the e-01. As long as it's analog and within range. It also has two pulse type inputs that I am yet to mess with.

ETX, how do I tap the fuel pressure sender. Won't the signal weaken when sending to the gauge and if so will the gauge be less accurate?

derek_i, thanks for the image that helps..

What is the different between pulse signal input and analog signal input. I think analog single input is a constant 0-5V of current....such as an AEM Wideband.

I plan on running an EGT probe....will that work with analog input 2?

thanks guys

So I would hook up the AEM Wideband to the white wire ?
Is that how you wired yours gg ?
And what is the conversion rate ?

Yup...that is all you need. Connect the wire ouptut wire onthe AEM to the white input wire on the Greddy signal harness.

The conversion rate is listed in your AEM wideband instruction manaul. I dont have it in front of me....if you need it...lemme know, and I'll post it later.

thanks!

Anyone know what to look for when picking out a Fuel Pressure Gauge so that it can be tapped in to the e-01 ?

(other then the GReddy 60mm Electronic Warning Gauges that you can use with thier meter cable for direct plug in)

Thanks

Any electric gauge should work. You just need a signal wire to tap into.

350now:
Voltages in parallel will be the same, so it won't lower signal strength (as long as you tap into the voltage wire and use the same grounding source ie. the chassis).

GQ:
An analog signal is a constant wavelike signal (like a sine wave) where a pulse signal is more like a high/low or on/off signal (like a square wave)

RPM is an example of a pulse signal.

What would the Green wire - Analog signal output, be used for ?

Going to use this post to ask another e-01 wiring question.

The e-01 wiring harness has 4 wires
red (power)
yellow (for warning light)
black (ground)
brown (RMP signal)

Those with the e-01, what do you have the brown wire connected to ?

I have my wiring harness out of the car, and I am soldering all my connections, just want to double check this one.

Thanks

Connnect the brown wire to the RPM signal wire. Since our car doesnt have an RPM signal wire, just tap the brown wire coming out of the Greddy RPM adaptor. That will do the trick!

FYI...dont try to tap that Greddy RPM adaptor more than once...there isnt enough just to support more than one additional tap. When I tapped it again for my turbo timer, I lost all the RPM signals...oops..
