Default Installing RC440 injectors

Hey guys, ive been enjoying my ATI kit for almost 2 months now with little or no mishaps. Ive been racing alot of the locals and on top of my 70 mile commutes, id have to say the Procharger is holding up well. Now I need more power! Im considering 9 or 10 lb pulleys, adding the Greddy Emanage and RC440cc injectors, test pipes, Borla true dual, maybe a stage 3 or 4 Clutchmaster. My tuner is going to add some timming down low and pull some off the top end. He said he might have to create a new fuel map too? Im not sure the 440cc injectors can handle the fuel req alone so should i ask my tuner to keep the Aeromotive DFMU and inline fuel pump? Its either this or I replace the stock fuel pump and add a FPR? I like the idea of the DFMU adding fuel pressure only when its needed so the car can still idle well and run smoothly around parking lots. Can some of you FI vets share some of opinions with this set up? Thanx!

Keep your upgraded fuel system...it will work fine for your needs with the 440cc injectors.

You will need the eManage to scale those injectors, and your car should run just fine.

Ideally, you'll eventually want to ditch the standard DFMU and do all of your fuel enrichment and timing adjustments through the eManage...if you decide to go that route.

Good Luck!

I installed the ATI Procharger and Jason @ Autologic did the tuning.

Im going to have Tom @ Lightspeed do the injectors, clutch, exhaust, Emanage, and tuning.

Both are great shops and they know each other. Lightspeed is just closer to where I work.

Since you already have the inline fuel pump and the Aeromotive DFMU from the procharger. I would keep it as is and add the RC 440cc + Greddy E-manage. Use the DFMU to feed more fuel and the e-manage to scale and fine tune the fuel curve.

Thanx 350Now, that was my first choice since it seemed to be the most flexible and has the most potential.

My pleasure. Also if you think about it you will not have to buy another fuel pump and a FPR. Just use the inline fuel pump and the DFMU. Good luck on your set-up and keep us updated how it turns out.
