Default Greddy TT 1/4 mile runs...

Blah, I'm a moron. Didn't drop the pressure in the BFG Drag's at all, so my 60ft times came out horrible... I expect another .2 to .3 in the ET times if I dropped the pressure like I was supposed to. Car's definitely got that in it.

Anyway, this is with test pipes and Borla, at stock PSI. I'm happy with the results.

Shout out to my boy Mike and the others who came along from the ATX shop.

Great times..

high 11's are in the car with 8.5psi... Good work!

Was traction still an issue in 1st gear/2nd gear??

GQ, yeah traction was always an issue. I would either spin out or bog down, depending on my launch RPM. Basically I launched around 4k, got some spin, but did not bog, which was usually better than bogging down. I wish i'd dropped the tire pressure :\

Believe it or not...I have never raced a car at the 1/4 miles track...or the 1/8. :P

So I am trying to learn as much as possible about this. Since I am moving to Charlotte NC in 4 weeks, there will be a plethora of good tracks in my area....tons of them...so I'm sure I'll get lots of practice.

GQ, it's an art man, takes a long time to be good at... and analyzing/studying your results constantly..

gq... there are several 1/8 mile tracks in the area. Nearest 1/4 mile track to Charlotte is Rockingham. When you get to town, we'll get a group together to hit one. I know some guys in Carolina Z Club are wanting to do a drag strip day again.

With a 2.1 60 foot traction wasn't that bad. I could see you complaining if it was a 2.2 or a 2.3. Most guys with drag radials tend to get 2.0s or 2.1s.

Uh, I would get 2.1's on my 19" Dunlop Sport9000's... when the car was stock.

I've been able to get low-to-mid 1.9second 60' times with my BFG DRs and I'm a relative newbie to the whole drag racing thing.

There you go, if I was able to get even a 1.9 with the BFG's, My time would be closer to mid-12's.

Damn, I haven't seen anyone get a 1.7 on drag radials. I am always happy getting less than a 2.1 60 foot. I haven't taken my Z to the track yet, but now I have something to shoot for.
