Ultimate Racing 350Z TT has arrived (lots of pics)
Well, first of all I would like thank all the members on this board for sharing the wealth of information that they have and also a special thanks to Darryl at Ultimate Racing for a great service and extra care.
Ok, now to the TT.
First this is my office … anything suspicious???

All hiding under my desk
Here are some pictures of the parts I received so far.

And the following pictures are from the first box
A turbo

Another turbo

Down pipes

Dump pipes

Radiator bottom hose and pipe

MagnaFlow Muffler

Driver side UR Headers and HKS wastegate. Is the wastegate suppose to have a bolt on top of it?

Intercooler

New slim fans

Radiator overflow tank

Passenger side UR Headers and HKS wastegate

This bolt was hanging on the headers? But with no nut, I guess they lost that in shipping, and if you look close, you will see the other bolt hanging but with its nut

Close up of the bolt

I think Darryl, did send some extra bolts and nuts, thanks

Nissan upper oil pan, I ordered this just in case I make a mistake drilling the upper oil pan for the turbo oil return line.

And the second box
Air filter – passenger side

Test pipes

Intercooler inlet pipe

No clue but it looks good

Don’t ask, but again looks good

I know this one – Air filter – Driver side

Ok, next

From the turbos down to the intercooler pipe

HKS Blow off value

Another pipe that looks good

Middle part of the exhaust

Test pipe other side

Exhaust dual pipes

the other side of the middle section of the exhaust

Other stuff to follow:
1) Exedy Twin Carbon Clutch
2) GReddy E-manage
3) Fuel system assembly
4) LM-1 AFR meter
5) And some other minor stuff
I will keep you posted
Az
ps: Sorry but I had to take some parts of the pictures.

ps: Sorry but I had to take some parts of the pictures.
i love your turbo setup! i was thinking of going turbo on mine, but decided that having three (3) F/I cars wasn't going to be such a good idea after all. i mean i needed a car that i could drive conservatively.
anyhow, goodluck!

I guess if you two F/I cars already, you will be ok with a N/A Z for now

Can't wait to get the rest of the stuff and start working on the carJust to prove it

very nice
about your wastegates, you dont need a bolt on top....just a vacuum fitting if you're planning to run a boost controller, otherwise leave it as is.
and you just have to mount the turbos before removing your oil pan and you can see exactly where to drill for the oil return; hope your oil return lines are ss.
good luck and keep us updated

Yalla Beena! Besurua... (my arabic sucks).
get that thing installed...that is an order.
Seriously, the welds and quality look top notch. I love how they went with HKS racing wastegates (they are HUGE), BB turbos, and the HKS SSQ BOV..the best in my humble opinion...
Intersting that they chose a bar and plate type intercooler....that is usually reserved for race applications...... Oh well...looks great!

Thanks guys
The quality of the work is excellent and would recommend Ultimate Racing for your performance needs
just call 1-800-got-turbo
j/k
Thanks apex locator for the info, I was wondering what that would be for, now it makes sense.
gq_626, SIR YES SIR
I will do that ASAP SIR
... on the other hand, the intercooler is needed considering that temps down here gets up to 50C in the summer time. Yes, that hot
I will keep you guys updated, as I'm still looking for some shop to let me work on the car with their help.
I was suppose to go to a friends friend shop but it turned to be just a service station
So today I called Nissan dealer and asked if they could do such a job and if they would allow me to work on the car.
The manager of the service department said that yah they would do it but I would not be allowed to even see the car when its inside, so I said OK talk to you soon
And I checked another place that have all sort of exotic cars inside so I said to myself, those guys must know their stuff.. Anyway after some time talking to the “head mechanic” [for the Arabic speaking folks “Al-Ma’alim”], about the TT setup and he was telling me how much they know about TTs and all that stuff....
I asked him "What do you use to tune the car?" his reply was "We use a computer system that we bought for $12,000 [popping his eyes]" I said "ok" and "do you use an MFR meter?" [just checking if he knows his stuff - of course I was referring to AFR meter and replaced the letter "A" with "M"
] any guy would say "WTF are you talking about!!!" that would be any guy, but this guy said "Yah, we use that and I have one in my office ..... no I think I left it at home … no its in the office inside, and we use it all the time" so again I said "Ok, I will call you, thanks"
So the search continues for a "normal" shop
not even a performance shop
..... I wish I had a car lift, I wouldn’t need those A holes BS artists.
