Why does everyone think this guy is at your beck and call. Chill out and let the busy guy post pics as he gets a chance. Four people don't need to say the same thing calling BS. Make love, not war

Your initial post does nothing for us..and does nothing but make us question your authenticity. Take a few days...whatever...and put everything together in a logical fashion. If your intention is to help us learn...terrific...

Now, you say the eManage was locked?? Then how did you adjust the timing? This is why I assumed you downloaded/updated the Profecs contents to the eManage...this will wipe out maps..since the Profec data card is blank. Again, by the structure of your comments, it appears you dont have a clue about how to tune or access the eManage....you arent making yourself look really good here..and you are running a business.

And by the way....I know the second largest wholesaler of Greddy products on the west coast. I have plenty of contacts there....and NOBODY has heard of a preprogrammed eManage coming blank from the factory.
as i said IT WAS NOT LOCKED.

my kit was having issues from when i decided to order the freaking thing. so i would not be suprised that it got packed with a not yet programmed emanage.

but anyway i freaking give up on this issue. can a mod delete this thread i tried already. i'm done with it.

i've never had an issue running lean on my 99 gsx but then again i did blow the stock motor too..

i sure like the power it makes before it blows up.

anyways i'll just upload the dyno chart with the wb02 reading so you all can make your own conclusions.

i'm done for the night.

actually thats 2 confirmed and one possible failure.

check thread in engine drivetrain about a member with a massive buildup who had boost spike

then g356gear sold his spare engine to a guy with "tuning problems"

of course not the entire 350z community posts here and i know i would not brag about blowing my engine up online. so i would assume its very possible that others have blown as well.

The infamous #5 again. I wonder if the Crawford plenum is what helps me so much with my FI setup? I'm sure it plays some type of roll.

Wonder what he had for exhaust or if it was stock (headers, catback or choked up?)

Thanks for the pics.

i had stock cats with custom 2.5" xpipe tru duals all the way back.

i may pull out the tig and spend the money to create a sheetmetal intake similar to the one i have for my gsx.

Which oilpan is that??? The factory one is black and has no ridges in the bottom like the one in the photo does. Maybe off a GSX??

Ok nick you blew up the motor but now exactly what went wrong im assuming u r a competent tuner and being so you should know at 13's A/f ratio @ 6psi on a 10.3/1 compression motor would spell diaster right????

As soon as your AF got over 12 at the higher revs you should have shut it down?

You mention that your e-manage was all sxrewed up why even chance running the motor at all untill you corrected this situation??

You mentioned you had some kind of timing retard in place how many degress back were you running through out the rev points??

Were you running the greddy injectors?? Were they spliced in correctly?? Any thoughts on how this happened??

This is the first FI VQ motor that i heard of that blew up in the hands of a tuner on a dyno! what happened???

i thought yours blew up right after you left, following the 40+ dyno pulls he had made.
