Default To gut or not to gut...?

Hey All,

With all the occurances of their failure: I'm wondering if I should save myself the trouble.

Default rt

If they look fine...put them back in as is ....Not all the RT cats are going bad . You may have a good set . If they do go bad...get something else [test pipe , new cats ] and after you have thoughs in hand ....replace the RT cats and send them back to get replace...sell them when you get them .Best way to save the extra cost of the new cats , or pipe

I say keep em..unless you want a little extra power. When I swithced from RT's to Helix Test Pipes...I honestly didnt notice a whole of difference. But others have felt big gains.....

Test pipe - vs - RT Cats

As you said.. If you didn't feel a lot - with the Helix - Roger that.

However Tony (wld350z) did say that your RT cats - after a run to the river and back to clean them up.. Now the power increase is
noticible..

So if you have high flow cat's - don't gut them

GQ - with the helix - do you have that often reported buzz at 2500 to 3500?

Cheers Amy -

I've heard that the raspyness disappears once FI is added into the equation. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
