Default VDC off light and Greddy kit

ok now the installation is done, but now I gotta deal with the VDC. It's stay OFF all the time and I don't even know it's automatically off all the time or this is some kind of error message. How did u guyz solve this problem? Do I have to go to the dealer and Let them reset the ECU?
thx~

Your steering wheel is not on center. The VDC is very touchy about that. Go drive the car and see how off center it is then, pull the steering shaft apart and fix it.
Good luck,
Gary

The car will always still drive straight....its just the orientation of the wheel to the draft shaft. Couple of people had this issue, but even after straightening it, they still had the VDC light.

I'd suggest straightening the wheel first, and if the VDC persists, disconnect your battery for 12-24 hours, and try again. Last resort...head to the dealer for CONSULT II treatment.

I had to go to the dealer to have this reset with a Consult II. $170 in labor, but the light is gone.

wow thats rediculous labor charge for something that probably took them less then 5 minutes. I guess the machine itself was probably really expensive tho, gotta make your money back on that.

I guess im looking, i put the steering shaft on 1 tooth off and it never gave me the light.

I DO however have the airbag light that I gotta turn off one of these days. I must have key-on'd the car while the front sensor was out.
