Default Vortech S/C

Does anyone know a good installer and tuner for the vortech s/c in So. Cal? Specifically around the L.A. or Orange County area.

I agree! Save the $$$ and do it DIY. Once you get past drilling the hole for the "oil drain" it is all down hill. Found a right angle drill at Lowe's which made that easy. Very few tools are needed. Go to: vortechsuperchargers.com and get the tools they recommend before starting.

It is the V3. Kinetix is prepared to send V4 if I have a probelm. However, I advised them I was adding a SC. They feel their plenum will perform better with the added pressure as a result of the SC vs the sucking generated under NA.

Time will tell... You might try sending a PM to CaneZMD and asking him his thoughts. He also just finished installing a Vortech SC with Kinetix Racing Plenum.
