fellas....
i have new tuner-derived numbers.....
i have the values run in two sets also, so as to show my GAIN overthe last visit, and to give a comparo-number for online purposes only.....
background::
original (06/02) dyno tuning of the vortech kit yielded 365.1 rwhp , 319.2 lb-ft TQ on the mustang loaded dyno (after mapping was COMPLETELY redone, cell by cell).. the only mods to the car, performance-wise, was the crawford plenum....
return to the tuner (07/06)
current dyno re-tune of the vortech kit, with crawford plenum (same) , new crawford h/f cats, and fujitsubo Y-pipe and catback exhaust system , 3.12" pulley (not a 9lb pulley, per vortech, btw), yeilded 384.6rwhp, 325.4lb-ft TQ on the mustang loaded dyno, with 98°F ambient air temp, and 52% humidity.....
id say the car is strong, ESPECIALLY considering the temps and humidity levels (couldnt be much worse for this!!)
(you could see the soup in the air... no kiddin!!... a worked supra TT pulled 391 rwhp prior to my run, fyi!
now.........
for arguments sake, we re-ran the car, WITHOUT the mustang dyno load control, and got DYNOJET inertia numbers......
400.5rwhp (SAE corrected) with 344.9 lb-ft TQ.......
all in all, id say it was a good day, and am very happy with the netted gains the car sees....

here are the numbers , per the dynojet simulated (no load) inertia dyno.......
either way, the curves are very nice, and the torque satys with me thru-out the game......
im pleased......

hopefully this looks better!
and yes, i am looking for headers, and a lightened flywheel/clutch combo to make this game happen sooner and faster (no HP expected from the tranny stuff however)

thanks for the replies.....
hope to run her in some now... (hope for less humidity too)
here she is, on the first pull.... (serp. belt slipped, causing very unusual readings)

Great Scott, Scott!!! That's astounding. I'm so happy for you. I can't wait to ride in her and feel the difference. Those are awesome numbers. I really like what that Vortch can do.
So what's next? hehe

Scott,
Congrats again on the great performance yesterday at the dyno. She's shaping up nicely, my friend! I'm glad to have been a part of this. After being with Infiniti for 11 years, it's so cool to finally see some performance goodies being bolted onto these great vehicles!
Take Care,
John

Awesome, Scott! I'm so ready to try a pulley upgrade to squeeze out some more low range power.
Can you elaborate on the re-tuning done for the new pulley and parts?
