what did you guys used to drill the oil pan with? did you guys use a right angle atachment to drill the hole? doing the s/c tomorrow.

Yes you can but i chose 2 go with the JWT oil spacer kit. Drill the spacer with a tap and get an extra quart of oil for your motor. I have pics will post later just got my install done going for a test drive!!!

I was able to find a variable speed right angle drill, manufactured by Milwaukee at Lowe's. With it being variable speed was able to take it slow and do a "dirty" install. In other words, packed the drill and cutter with grease to trap filings, rather than remove oil pan cover.

Yes, please post pics. I just got the spacer and would like to see where you drilled.

You need to be above the "sea level" of the oil. The only way a JWT spacer will work is if they send you the one designed for their unreleased turbo kit. That one has a tube that extends above the oil sea level.

I used a right angle Makita (about $100). The space is very tight but you can get it about 90% straight. I thought that drilling the pan would be the toughest part, it wasnt..
Just make sure to pack the flutes of your drill bits with plenty of GREASE. I had 0 shavings come out the other side of the whole.
