Default No one talks about stillen here are some dyno's

Today my friend and I were tired of hearing about the lack of
info on dyno's of their product.
So we decided we would go get a dyno reading.

My car brickyard touring
injen intake
injen exhaust
kinetix cats
stillen stage 3

His car

Black track
test pipes
pop charger
greddy exhaust
stillen stage 3

We did not have a base line to go one be forehand to see how much actual gain.

We used a dynopak for the dynapak
his best pull was 389hp flywheel
323 tq
311 hp to the wheels

my best pull 385hp flywheel
344 tq
308 hp to the wheels

For those who say no one post stillen results well here are some.
will post graphs soon printer broke on my run.

Hope this helps

That kit is 6000.00 and it only produced 90hp? Man I woud be pissed. How many psi are you running. You should have gone turbo. 10 lbs of boost and they were getting like 430hp to the wheels

Am I pissed NAW but dissapointed with HP
TQ is great the car has all the safe power I need.
The biggest flaw in the system is the tremendous amount of heat build up under the hood with no way of venting it out at this time
which in turn I have had three belt changes less than 3k miles.
Am I sold on Stillen No but I'm into it now and will try to find ways to improve performance.

I had belt stretching on my vortech......I am going to try a bando brand...someone said it may hold up better.....as far as heat goes if anyone finds a way to get more cooling into the engine compartment i'd like to know, I thought of removing the front corner reflectors and piping air up from there.....

Easy to say with someone else's money. What are you running? I spent $2500 for na mods and only got about 20hp. The stage 3 stillen cost me 4000 and I got 100hp, plus its safe and reliable. I'm pretty happy with it.

I totally agree there are alot of people on here with lots of opinion
that haven't spent or don't have the money for quality mods so the talk talk talk cheers to the ones that have gone the distance for what ever high quality mod be it TT or SC the rest of you keep talkin and we'll keep kickin a$$.....

344 TQ
384 Flywheel
308 Wheels

So Talk is cheap TT's SC's arent and talk sure doesn't make any HP

LOL

What are you running and what type of numbers are you putting down to make such an assessment....?

exactly!!!!!

90 hp at the wheels for $6k on this car is not bad at all..especially when it comes pretuned and is warrantied

Are there kits for similar money that produce bigger gains? Sure...there always will be.

Are these other kits the be all and end all final solution to reliable hp on this car...far from it.

Everyone's goal with this car is different. To some they want a 500 hp supercar in a less expensive package....a 911 beater for all intents and purposes. For others, its an everyday car, so we want reliability over all else. I know I personally fall into the latter category....this is the first car I have owed where that category applies I would gladly trade 50 hp at the wheels for a warranty and reliability

Warranty huh?
Have you ever had to deal with Stillens customer service dept before??That warranty isnt worth the paper is printed on, when Stillen starts finding excuses why their unit was NOT the reason you ruined your motor...Cant wait to see the first person to try and utilize Stillens "WARRANTY" ...I personally have run an ATI for quite some time and find that their lack of warranty is made up with their superior customer service, at least in my case..Thats just my opinion
