Default My Greddy TT dyno day

Hey I just got my dyno today and was a little disappointed with my numbers. I got a 310RWHP and 284 torque. I am running with stock exhaust and cats. Everything is stock. And also I am getting a rattling sound on first gear goin like 5mph. Dunno why but it is scaring me. Anyone know anything about the rattle? well here is my dyno. tell me whats the problem with the low numbers thanks.

Well, your Af ratio is off the chart way rich, even worse than mine was, I guess Greddy is sending these out super rich. mine was probably leaner because I have test pipes and exhaust.

You need to tune it or buy some MAPS.

Don't know about the rattle, where is it coming from?

Yeah the a/f isn't too good, did u even have it tuned or just the setting on the emanage? That rattle noise might be from the tranny my boys car does that when he's going slow in 1st like a rattle sound comes from the tranny.

Make sure you are getting all your boost and that there are no really bad intake leaks. If there are even minor intake leaks it can be over working the turbo to make the same boost getting your less efficiency and less HP.

Your car is definatly rich, which makes me think your not getting the full 5.0-5.5 psi. Its normal to have rich off the scale, but not ALL the way to redline. The way the E-Manage is tuned is that the very last row is your fuel for boost once you get in there... so if you run less boost than intended, it will be too much fuel. What I am saying is that inside the E_Manage maps and when tuning on a dyno you will come to find that the last row is really all that is the most important for full throttle runs... so your tuning there is what counts at full throttle regardless of how much boost you are actually getting.

you should be able to get 350rwhp even thru stock cats and exhaust... cause we did one for a customer like that.

Yeah bro...waaay rich. Do you have a boost guage? First, make sure you are getting your full 5-6psi of boost. If you are achieving full boost, then it's time to retune that emange.

So would you guys recommend me getting the Profec e-01? You think it will help out a lot? I agree with my A/F readings, way off the chart. Man I think that guy didnt really tune my car. I think it was goin with the factory settings. About the rattle, I think I might get me an exhaust first then ask the muffler shop to check on the pipings. Damn I think I should take it to a different dyno shop to have them tune it for me, what you guys think? Thanks for all the help guys!

Yeah i would get a Profec e-01 if you are using the emanage to tune and get that thing to a real tuner asap.

How could he tune it without the E-01? I agree with Phunk, I don't think you are seeing the full 5-5.5psi, which would explain the low a/f numbers and the low power numbers.

They can tune with a laptop and the Greddy support tool as well. But honestly, the Profec e-01 to eManage is like peanut butter to jelly.

Okay I am lookin for an e-01 right now. What should an e-01 come with? Is there any softwares that should come with it? I need to buy an O2 sensor to get the A/F ratio gauge right? Any suggestions what else I need. Thanks

regardless of tuning, your still 40hp shy of where you should be. I made 416rwhp without even touching the greddy tune. I would try and figure out the root of the problem before tuning around it.

Okay I need help with my BOV also. I am not getting the sound that I wanted to get. I wanted the real loud WOOOSH sound. I got the Greddy Type-S BOV. How do I adjust it so I get the WOOSH sound? Do I turn it soft or hard? Here is my BOV placement.

I would worry about what is wrong with your car and not about the blow off valve.

loosen the jam nut, and turn the top allen counterclockwise to soften it up. Then tighten the jam nut again.

I was about to ask the same thing

I would not be concerned at all about your BOV sound and more concerned with the amount of fuel you're going to brun running those AFR's (and how you'll clog your cats, etc etc)
