Who is running the Blitz R-VIT to monitor there engine ? And can it read the A/F ratio the stock ECU reads ? Can it data log ? thx Bill

 

I went to the site , but cant tell by the pics they posted , and it doesnt say in the info they give

The RVIT is an electronic device that plugs into the OBD diagnostic port on the vehicle. The unit will display all of the information that the vehicles ECU reads from the vehicles sensors. This includes readouts such as Speed, Tacho, Water Temp, Voltage, Injector Pulse, Intake Temp, Air Flow Mass, Intake Manifold Temp, Oxygen Mix, Throttle Position, Exhaust Gas Temp (if equipped from the factory, ala some Subaru's) etc.

 

Im looking to use it to help me tune my car . And if it has a A/F read out , thats the only thing Im missing to be able to tune myself .But I would amagine if it did read it , it wouldnt display as a A/F read out ,but a voltage read out or some thing like that....dont know...thats why Im looking to see if it does read and display A/F

 

If it reads A/F, it will likely be a narrow band, and useless for tuning. You'll need a wideband A/F sensor.

 

exactly correct....this plus a wideband would be useful, but then again, a good boost gauge, good datalogger and a wideband afr meter will prove the best combo of all

your signature says you already have the AEM gauge.,...why do you need another AFR gauge?

 

Well..If it data logged it...I could tune it that way . Looking at the rpm and A/F gauge at the same time is hard and hard to remember what it read at any given rpm range

 

i think you can get an optional datalogger for the AEM... i think i read it somewhere here....
