Default (Greddy TT) And the Lord said . . .

Let there be light . . . ning fast Zs

Just took delivery of my Z and even on the basic Greddy maps, it brings a wide grin to your face I think I'll leave her alone for a few weeks, then get the nerve to have it tuned. After wiping the emanage clean, I don't want to send it back to Kenji anytime soon

Do you think I could run safely on 6.5lbs with these maps?

Dont get to Crazy with it yet man.. the low boost might blow your doors off but that high boost will blow your motor up.

Congrats, I would not boost it up to 6.5 or 7 until you replace the fuel pump.

Actually, I just want to give a big "thanks" to all the online 350s that helped us out with the install. I'm sure mine would have gone a lot smoother if the kit wasn't missing so many pieces (that's another story) . . . but hey, it kept us on our toes.

DO NOT BOOST IT TO 6.5PSI IT WILL BLOW UP.

Honestly I **** you not.

You are safe for no more than 5.5 psi on stock fuel system. Do not even try it for a run or two, it goes UNSAFE LEAN at 6.0+ I havent tested this.

Yeah, I scratched that idea as I sat pondering over the next few steps . . . who knows? When phunk perfects his HKS Fcon, I may follow suit one day

Our pump will not supply enough fuel on higher boost. Some where able to get to 6.5 but it's better to be safe and wait for your fuel upgrade first. Get an upgraded pump, make sure you have some timing retarding then boost higher. I'm still on stock boost and it's still good for me. I'll boost higher when the novelty wears off. Might be soon.

One more note. At 5.6psi and my mods i'm already hitting 11.5 - 11.7 at WOT. This is with stock fuel pump.

agree with everyone. Leave it 5.5psi for now. When you change the fuel pump, and retard some timing, you should be good for 7-8psi, but I'm leary of the rods....for the long term.

Several memebers have blown there motors in the sub 6.5psi range...so please be careful until you get it tuned.

Out of curiosity, I have ran the vehicle all day long and it's running within spec (normal engine temps, oil pressure, etc). I went to fill up with gas and a small cloud of white smoke crept out from under the hood. It only did it for a few seconds. I popped the hood, checked everything out, and it looked normal. No fluids leaking, but I noticed it came from the rear bank (passenger side) where all my heat wrap is. Does this sound normal? Could it be the heat wrap burning in? I'm going to baby this thing later on this evening and see if it does it again. It didn't do it all last night or today . . . until a while of hard driving.

I think I know what that is. If you look at the hard coolant pipe next to the passaenger side bank...take a close look at your manifold. When they installed my kit, they didnt fully tighten the bolt that holds that hard coolant pipe in place, and so occasionally, a couple drops of coolant would leak out and land on the manifold. I bet that is what's happening to yours.

Take a look and let us know.
