Smile Re: AEBS stroker kit!

Awsum... 4.3 Liter N/A 350Z would be nice..

Or with an HKS

Cheers Amy -

Does it seem like they (AEBS) need a 9.5 CR option?

Cheers Amy -

May be a dumb question but ...will the turbo kits on the market / coming on the market have a problem with fitment on AEBS stroker kit for our engine ?

AEBS is all internals, so you could put a AEBS stroker kit + turbo kit, but it'd cost you an assload of cash.

A nice option on this would be to use the stock crank. I'm sure the stock crank would handle 800hp. Save a couple grand by not getting the crank and you will still have a larger motor than can take tons of boost.

Then it's not a stroker anymore.

Be aware that AEBS is full of $hit. The turn around time that they tell you....lets just say .... you may want to double it.....or maybe even triple it...

Damn...you must have had a bad experience with them. I've known Ben for a while and he's always taken care of business on my end. This was a while back when I had my sentra but I imagine it couldn't be MUCH different now....

I don't remember when and where but I think I read something saying that stroker kits and FI do not mix. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, because I think it would be an awesome setup.

its marginally better in bore, all the extra displacement is from a longer stroke, hence, the name, stroker.

With the AEBS sleeves you can go up to 100mm bore, which makes a 3.8 liter. I think this is a little more than marginal.

No I delt with some yak named Dave. Get this, when I spoke to Jason (Performance Nissan) I told him my story. Dave says that he was waiting on a part from the dealership. So I call Jason and tell him what I need, a #34 Main Bearing. Jason say to call AEBS back and get the numbers off of the crank and the block. I call them bac and of course Dave answers. I ask him for the numbers and he says no. He then says to have my mechanic, who dropped off the engine there, to call him since he is doing business with them. I say fine. My mechanic calls, and what do you think happens next.....the part mysteriously shows up. And then of course he says that it should only take him a couple of hours to get the engine ready.

Again people, just a word of caution. And if you have to ask if I am bashing AEBS, the answer is yes. They may have great products, but they have **** pour customer service.

P.S. And you can tell Ben to pass this message on to Dave.

I will. Ben would not be very happy about that. He's always been big on customer service and he will not be happy.

I thought there was a team out on the east coast that was running the stroker with the PE kit pushing 780. the only other kit I heard of paulus or roger selling was to a marketing company.
