Gentlemen,

I wanted to ask you what YOU guys think a good shop is....

For example....

My local mechanic is an awsome guy, he's honnest, reliable, and will go out of his way to help.....

His shop is one of the only ones that will allow me to:

1)Assist the teck, and watch what their doing.... (When I first asked him if it was ok 5 or 6 years ago... he told me "Louis, the only ppl who dont want customers in the back are the ones that dont know what their doing, or ppl that have something to hide!")

2)Lets me drive my car up on the hoist and back down once their done.

3)Lets me drink beers in the back ....

4)Tries to set me up on dates with other customers!!!lol!!!!

What do you guys think makes your mechanic not just good, but GREAT????

Patience. I’m under the car with the mechanic, and asking dumb questions. The mechanic lets me hang around, and answers my dumb questions.

He probably charges me extra for not tossing me out of the repair bay.

 

Same here, ie: Whats this for???? kinda thing.....
My mechanic, actually takes the time to explain what he's doing and the "why" behind it....

Its Amazing how much you can learn!!!!

 

attention to detail......getting the small things right as well as the big things....not arguing or blowing smoke over repair issues that are obvious.

....and no quibbling over warranty.....I guess I'm kinda one of the lucky ones....I have my car serviced at the same place I purchased it. These guys treat me very very well and that dealership will continue to get my business going forward.

Who says good after sales service doesn't improve sales?....it will in my case.

Way to go New Pacific Nissan....
