Default ATI Fuel related

Has anyone ran a 9# pulley without upgrading injectors ? I have the new injectors, but I don't have the fuel management yet...I plan on getting the Technosquare flash and use the emanage to control additional fuel for the 440cc injectors.

Has anyone actually seen what the duty cycle is on the stock injectors at 9psi ? I plan on sending it in to TS soon to map for the 380's and then scale the emanage for the RC440's , but will it be ok in the meantime ?

I also have the J&S, so there is a bit of control for detonation, I'm just worried about running lean

Do you still have the DFMU (or is it a tuner kit?) if so you should be able to use that to force enough fuel into the engine. It might not be too clean or run very well, but its doable. We've used the 440's, our reflash, and return fuel system with the 9lb pully. Dr. Bonz was nice enough to do a write up, but I just spent 20 min looking for it and its impossible to find oh well.

I have the DFMU presently, but I plan on ditching it in the future for the eManage when I install the 440's and get a reflash. I am most worried about the car leaning out due to the injectors being maxed more so than not having enough fuel from the DFMU.

Has anyone figured out the duty cycle of the stock injectors under various boost levels ?

Their "duty cycle" never changes (if your reffering to the amount in which they open and close) and is in Milli seconds. The Aeromotive supplies the extra fuel by forcing more fuel through the injectors during the time they are opened..Although this process is primitave it has been proven to work over the years and is similar principal to a rising rate fuel pressure regulator...
What I would do is go with a Walbro 225 lph pump,a fuel pressure regulator to rase fuel pressure dependant on boost and larger injectors..The APS kit comes with 550cc injectors and are good up to 600 chp..The problem you encounter with much larger injectors is the unablity to control the amount of fuel at low fuel requirements, idle, part throttle ect..This can wash the cylinder walls and in the long run be just as bad for your engine as detonation...This is why the preffered method of ATI and Vortech is to overdrive the stock injectors under boost, which is a fairly effective and safe method to some extent..

You can ask the fuel system question and get 5 different answers, its all personal preference and experience..
