Hey....considering that the cost of the kit, associated other parts and labor for all of this came to over $9000, I think it's worth all the fight I can give it. Not to mention saving a whole bunch of others from a royal pain in the butt.

We'll see how well they take care of their customers if in a month or two they haven't found a solution and I want all my money back.

thought I would post this link seeing as this thread has talked about adding headers to this kit and what would the A/F be? This guy is running headers and getting his car dynoed tomorrow so I would love to see if he is running lean or not.

I dont really have any other choice but to leave it on...if it's that bad, I just won't drive the car until I can either find a replacement or tune it somehow

what kind of mileage are you getting? According to my trip computer I am averaging around 14-15mpg. I can get just over 200 miles out of a tank. Is this normal or am I just pumping out too much fuel somehow.

This SES light thing is really weird. It just doesn't seem to follow any predictable pattern. The first time it came on was after 150 miles and about 15 start-ups. I cleared it and it came back on my third start-up after about 20 miles. I've cleared it again, and have gone 4 start-ups without it coming back. Whatever is happening,i t seems to be right "on the edge" of some parameter. Also, the first time, I got DTC's 1281 and 1271, while the second time I only got 1271. Sensor voltage was still close to zero however on both pre-cat sensors.

No answers yet, but it doesn't really matter. I've pulled my supercharger. HKS was actually willing to go through great lengths to help me out, but I was just getting too frustrated with problem after problem. The reason I went with the much more expensive HKS kit to begin with was that I had hoped to avoid this kind of stuff. Anyway, I'm in the process of putting the engine back to stock and throw on a Nismo intake and headers just for kicks while I'm at it and while the engine is easily accesible to do these minor mods. While I'm giving up my powerhouse car, I also feel very RELIEVED. At least now i can enjoy my car without constant worry. I am, however, installing a stoptech 4-wheel BBK and the full Nismo suspension as well color-matched headlights from clearcorners.com and a V1 front lip.

Maybe I just got a lemon kit, or maybe there are some real issues with ECU compatibility.....I'm not certain, but I have no regrets about my decision. I'm keeping the kit for now. I'm still using the upgraded fuel pump to power up a Nitrous tank that I can easily turn on/off. Not sure yet what I am going to do with the kit. maybe I'll sell off the parts to various people in need or maybe I'll wait for upgrades from HKS, anb build a new "super-motor" from scratch components. Just don't know yet.
