Default Vortech 3.12pulley

How much hp gain should I expect if I switch to the 3.12 pulley? Are there ANY issues with this pulley (slippage, fitment, etc)? Also, what size belt do I need and what do I need to take the 3.33 pulley off? Any info would be appreciated

You need to loosen the top 3 bolts on the blower , that hold it to the bracket . Pry the blower over far enough to get the 3.33 pulley off . You need a 93 inch belt . I suggest the Gates belt , thicker , stronger , less slipping . You will gain 20 to 40 hp and 1 to 1 1/2 psi . You'll need to retune afterwards

Booger... I'm getting ready to make this swap myself. Would it be easier to remove the jack shaft pulley assembly than take the SC loose as you suggest?

I was looking at it over the weekend and it appears as if you can remove both front and back jack shaft pulleys, then remove the 4 allen head bolts to remove the entire pulley assembly. Then, swap the 3.12" for the 3.33" and remount.

I have never considered doing it that way . I would have to look at it before I would comment on it . Just thinking about it though...I dont see why it wouldnt be doable
