I might be in for $200 shipped. This mates up with stock exhaust, right? Or does it not?

I'm in for 200.00 shipped too. Where is the main link?

Also, is our stock piping on the G35/350z 2.5 inches?

Default I'm wondering

Could someone post info of HP/Dyno gains from the Gruppe Y-Pipe, perhaps comparing it the Fujitsobo Y-Pipe or any other competing pipe?

I'm sure it shouldn't show as much gain as the Fujitsobo, but at less than 1/2 the price I'd like to know how much bang for my buck I'm getting. If it is reasonable, I'd like to join the group buy as well.

Oh one other question: I'm slightly confused about how the G's exhaust is setup - so it is not a true dual and the y-pipe comes between the cats and a single muffler ( I suppose i should just look under my car but I'm at my desk at work...). If I get a catback true dual system later that includes the cats, y-pipe elimination, and 2 mufflers?

Thanks!

the stock piping is 2.25. it is a little larger. if you're finicky, you can get step/down adapter sleeves to make a smoother transition. from what i've heard this will help ease turbulence, but not a noticable effect.
it's a larger inlet AND outlet. i think the stock outlet is 2.5 ", and the gruppe-s y-pipe is 3". it bolts right up, though.

the g35 exhaust :
the engine (2 sides of three cylinders - right + left)
two sets of headers r + l
two cats r + l
y-pipe (connects the two cats to a single exhaust mid-pipe)
mid-pipe (w/resonator)
rear section (muffler(s))

if you get a true dual cat-back system, it will replace the y-pipe, and everything after that.

hope this helps

Oh well that's no good then. I don't want a pipe in the middle doing essentially this with the flow:

No thanks!

Who makes a y-pipe that improves the flow AND fits in with stock exhaust diameters on both ends?

Great point. What about the Fujitsubo unit?

I think that one says right on the Gruppe-S website (it's listed right above or below the Gruppe-S y-pipe) that it's sized 76mm (the same as the Gruppe-S one) and made to connect to the Fuji exhausts.

Maybe no one makes a freer flowing y-pipe that mates to the stock headers and b-pipe (or whatever the single pipe going back to the dual mufflers is called)?
