Im lookin into buying a z but i havent learned to drive stick yet since i got my liscence a little while ago. I was jut wondering wat an auto z can do in 0-60, quartermile, and wat it traps at. I might learn to drive stick on my bros supra if he will let me. I was just wondering if there is much of a difference in times for auto vs 6spd.

 

Car and Driver got 5.5 0-60 for the G35 coupe. MotorTrend
got 5.7! Automobile(notorisly slow) got 6.0!
Quarter mile ranges from 14.2-14.4!
Top speed was 155 by Car and Driver.

 

In my first ever 1/4 mile I did 1 14.4 at 98+ in my 5AT G coupe - only power mods are a custom intake and GReddy SP2 axle-back muffler. It was cold 40 degrees and 600 ft above sea level, but I was running summer rubber and was slipping a bit. I figure the temp and sea level advantage was more than counterbalanced by the slippery tire situation.

There is another AT G coupe - which was running all-season tires and has only a Z-tube for power mod - that ran just over 14.0 at 100+!

My coupe has run 0-60 (measured with a Bel-tronics acclerometer) anywhere from 5.8 to 6.5.
