Yesterday morning when I started up my car it was making a really weird noise which seemed to come from the rear of the engine compartment. It sounded like a bouncing plastic ball, it didnt have the pitch that would signal it was metal. After the warmed up, the noise went away. It should be noted that my car was not in a garage overnight as it usually is. Any ideas, any concerns?

Sorry I've got no idea what it could be. If you hear the noise again, I'd call the dealer and have them take a look at it.

 

ya when i start on cold mornings, right after you hear the starter crank, i get this kinda like 'grinding' noise?? but it only lasts for like 2 sec and then goes right away. Maybe im paranoid...it might just be the engine turning over...
