Anything over 5k is a waste. You are decreasing the light output.
Factory xenon systems are usually in the 4100K, 4300K range on such cars as the Audi's, BMWs, Benz, Lex, etc.

The color you see on those cars is achieved by the type of projector lens that is used and not the actual bulb itself
