Default Best all-season tires for the 18" OEM wheels? Must work in snow.

Have any of you with the 18" wheels put all-season tires on? If so, which, and do you like them?

I'm looking for all-season tires to put on my 18" Wheel & Tire package wheels on my '04 Coupe that will be tractable enough in snow but decent year-round.

The stocks are of course high performance summer tires, but the specs are: 225/45/18 91W front, 245/45/18 96W rear.

The all-season tires must meet those specs for safety reasons.

They must also be from a legit brands like Bridgestone, Michelin, Goodyear, Pirelli, Dunlop, or maybe Yokohama or Toyo.

Thanks.

Looking at these
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....lace=8&index=8

Here in the winter it's light snow on occassion, mostly slushy roads that have been salted/sanded. These seem to have solid reviews for that type of environment. I am willing to give up some performance to get all-season use out of one set of tires.

The Pirelli P-Zero Nero M&S seems to be a nice all-season...

Seems to have almost identical tread pattern to the normal summer P-Zero Neros...

And not too expensive either.

I think I'll get the Avons, but I appreciate the rec'. I'm selling my winter wheel & tire setup (https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....85#post1626985 ) since it's a hassle for me to swap them in the Fall and Spring. Going for a year-round tire.

+1 on the avon's. I have them on my car (stock 18's) and the grip is better than the pos oem rubber. great wet characteristics.

Honestly, if you want to drive the Z in snow, you really need real performance snow tires. All-season may get you by on all-wheel drive, and possibly front-wheel drive in lighter snow, but on a rear driver, you are asking for trouble without dedicated snow tires. Just my $0.02.

I got the recommendation for Pirelli's 96H(?) snow tires for this area (Colorado Springs) from the Infiniti dealer and they worked slightly less better than the P7000's I had on my Honda Accord. But the difference was I had to re-learn the power curve of the G35 Vs. the Accord. Now going down hill, all bets were off. The G will lock up and slide easier than the Honda ever would, I blame that on the anti-lock system that the G has that the Accord didn't. I don't like anti-lock brakes and I probably never will, but it is easier to get out of a slide in the G. It's the whole power thing and RWD Vs. steering the nose toward a curb to prevent a crash... Maybe it's me but I have never been a great FWD driver.
