g35 sedan or Acura TL w/auto
Darling daughter has reduced her car list to these too. Looking for any additional observations she may have missed.
G35- great seats, instruments move with wheel, seat and wheel move when exiting
TL- Costs less, you can talk to the radio and other accessories, support for Ipod and bluetooth,
She noticed that the g35 handled better and the TL rode smoother. She considered this a wash.

I know I am going to sound like a hater troll but to me RWD is a major selling point. It doesn't sound like the driver really cares that much about this aspect and since RWD is usually more expensive, the FWD car may be the better value in this case.
TL all the way.
Safety rating on it is high, plus after seeing a few crashed pictures of one with a truck, i give honda a thumbs up on how well that car is made.
A lot more for the money on TL, looks great and rides great. FWD is perfect for newbie driver and if snows you are much safer in it then RWD. Besides does darling daughter need RWD? At least you can use TL for when you need it.
side note...wish my parents could have gotten me TL when i was younger

I've riden in a friend's fully loaded new TL. It is a very impressive ride. The stereo, overall interior, features, noise level, comfort, ride, acceleration, styling, and finish is first rate.
never actually priced out a tl but i know that you can get good pricing on the g35 sedan that puts it at potentially 30k flat maybe even a little under if you get a 2005 with 2k or so miles or something, i know the msrp on a base tl is something like 33k, so if you get the better deal on the g35 then id definately go for it, plus that way when you need to haul something bigger and still want speed you can have both.
I'm assuming your daughter hasn't driven a high horsepower rear wheel drive car before. For that itself I'd say you should go with the TL.
I'm assuming she wants a cruiser more than a performance oriented car, so again the TL is the car for her.

When i was searching for my next car it ended up being between the TL and the G. I pickd the G in the end. Mostly due to the RWD power. The interior on the TL is more elegant than the G but i still love my G interior. I think in your situation with your daughter the TL would be more practical. They are both great cars.

You only get so much production money to make a car. FWD cars are cheaper to build so acura spent the rest of the money on their interior. I am glad Nissan spent the money where it counts;on the drivetrain.
