Less camber issues
I know its redundant for me to tell you coz that's what you do but take it from me that I slammed the car with the tein flex for a few days and it chewed up the tires bad. And it hurt to have to pay 800 bucks for the camber kit. Now I ride high but the grip is insane.

Oh yeah I broke into the 12's today... On my 3rd run @ Bithlo I got a 12.99 sec 1/4 mi @ 109.63 mph!!!

Yeah bro you know I can get them. Stop by but let me warn you , they are not in stock lol. They only take 3-4 days to get though so order them in advance. Congrats on running 12s.

LOL alright... well my *** is broke right now so it won't be for like another week or so but I definitely need them. Also, I got a brand spankin' new set of Nitto 555 245/35/19 with the stickers on and everything. Know anyone that wants them?

well progress was suspended for 3 days because we have to do the swap elsewhere. My friend needs his garage right now so tomorrow we will tow the car to the new location and keep working on it. I predict the new engine will be in the car on friday night and up and running sometime next week if CFT pulls through and gets all the wiring done on time.

Yes, the car started... Although I wasn't there to witness the event. Apparently the car started just fine but the 2jz-gte has a return ruel system and the stock motor didn't so a jet of gasoline came flying out of the fuel rail when the car started. Dangerous thing to look out for... One of the guys that was under the engine bay ended up in the ER because the fuel went in his ear and caused all sorts of nasty swelling. So be sure to look out for that.
I don't think we have a solution for the return fuel system but Alex (goldis) is working on it.
Now that the Gold IS is alomst done, we will begin working on the second IS 2jzgte swap. We're turning these things like hot cakes lol

Now for the VQ part of this whole Battle.
I dunno if you guys read my other post about my G smoking. At any rate, it was and badly... I narrowed it down to it being the turbos. Not one, but both. THis is really strange because, naturally you don't blow 2 turbos at the same time. I have what seems to be like sand or some other grainy crap in the intake port of the turbo housing. THey're not smooth when you spin em'.
Today, I decided to pull the motor out. It took me a little over 8 hrs to do so by myself. Pulling the motor itself was pretty easy but its meticulous the amount of plugs and clips you have to undo before the engine can part ways with the engine harness.
I wanna take the time to tell ANYONE considering a greddy kit o reveal the truth about the install. PULL YOUR MOTOR OUT. Yes, my kit was originally done without pulling the motor and it was the biggest pain in the @$$ ever! 5 days at a local shop and many bloody fingers. Keep in mind we had all the right toos to get it done. Despite our best efforts, the kit was never properly installed and I had exhaust leaks, that ultimately cause a broken manifold gasket (that now I have to get from greddy) and a few stripped screws or threads. SO BE WISE AND PULL YOUR DAMN MOTOR IF YOU'RE DOING THIS KIT.

The turbos are soon getting rebuilt @ turbochargers.com and as soon as I get them back, I'm gonna go through every single part of the turbo kit and buy all stainless steel screws and make SURE every single mechanical part of the turbo kit is installed correctly and every screw is torqued to propper specs.
I'm getting rods, pistons, rings, and ferrea valves. I was considering getting darton sleeves but according to Central Florida Turbo, the VQ sleeves can hold decent boost (15-18 psi) and no sleeving is needed for moderate boosting. Anyways, i don't plan on boosting more than 10-12psi so I should be good.
Should I port and polish at this point?
Where can I get those triangular gaskets? I don't wanna buy them from greddy coz I bet they're pretty expensive.
Can I get different turbos instead of those TD05-18G?
Any thoughts?
