Default MREV for g35 questions.

Does anyone here have MREV installed? how is the performance? If I decide to buy a set (lower plenum, iso thermo, spacer), I need some help please before trying to buy things......can it work with crawford plenum?

Thanks

mrev works for cars with a rev up motor...combining it seems pointless since you would have to buy 2 kits to achieve the same affects of the mrev kit...

Why would you use the Motordyne product with the Crawford plenum? I don't see how this makes sense...

If you don't have the Crawford, just stick with the Motrdyne package...

Then you would benefit from MREV and Iso Thermal kit. Spacer would be pointless. You can buy the Iso Thermal MREV kit and sell the spacer on the forums.

Good guess on that. The actual diction doesn't state what he's doing for sure.

If Speed's synopsis is right, Star, let us know. I have heard of people using the thermal gasket with the Crawford. I've even heard of people trying to use the spacer with the Crawford plenum, but I don't believe anyone dyno'd this set up. I will guess that it would make little difference with EITHER set-up when used with your Crawford, though...

The MREV works with MD's spacer...the 5/16 to be exact!......The MD Mrev has been proven to give the highest NA gains out of ANY bolt-on part. All others are good, but the best is the MREV. The MREV is supposed to be used with the STOCK 05 & up Revup Motors. Sell the Crawford and buy MREV...you won't be sorry and you will neer look back.

The spacer on your stock plenum won't work, but the MREV kit does have a spacer with a new plenum.

MREV or MREV+ is essentially the only effective plenum mod for the REVUP engine.

Not trying to thread jack, but I was just about to get the MREV2 and the 5/16 iso thermal spacer (motordyne).. is there no point in the spacer?? I thought the spacer gives back some of the lost top end HP from the mrev2?

With the REVUP engine, spacers don't work on the "REVUP" lower plenum.

But if you get the MREV2, then yes, definitly get the spacer with it. When you have a REVUP engine you definitly want to use both the MREV2 and spacer together for the best results.

MREV2 for TQ
and
5/16" spacer for HP
