28 whp gain just from test pipes and UTEC? Seems a bit high...not saying it isn't legit but that is a huge gain just from those 2 mods.

It is what it is...

The baseline is always dependant upon how happy your stock ecu will be when you are on the dyno. On a average I would expect 20hp. This is just one case though.

Sorry,

We don't use the Dynapack AFR Logger for tuning it does not have fast enough sampling.

When running the UTEC the AFR will only show part of the story, we have the ability to run whatever Ignition Timing we desire and full fuel control.

Thanks,

Jermaine~

why is this so hard to believe? It's not like anyone else has done ecu mods to a rev up motor yet...and we all know that the newer motors produce more power stock to begin with...and with good reason

the car must be much more fun now

heheheh, ive been reading all of the posts so far jermaine and its looking very very attractive. Is the AFR logging that connects to the UTEC necceary for tuning or do utec tuners have their own independant one?
What exactly is needed for NA applications?

As the owner of the car i can tell you that this dyno only tells part of the story...the car feels SO responsive now, i can't beleive it myself. I was present during the tuning session and was able to see the power grow run after run after run as Jermaine kept saying "she has more in her"...needless to say he was right.

Adam, i was giving a certain black Z a good run for his money ...but sadly couples weeks later it's no longer the case

For NA applications you will need the The UTEC and a Tuner (pun intended)
Or atleast i think that is a pun

The redline is his baseline.

Thanks,

Jermaine~

Will the UTEC work on an '05 non Revup motor (5AT)? It appears the G lost some low-end torque below 2700 - 2800 rpm, is this correct? Thanks.
