are these average dyno #s for the g35
I am not too familiar w/ the g35, but I always thought that since it is so similar to the Z they would have similar dyno numbers. i just looked at this thread and the numbers seemed kindof low. are these normal numbers for a g?

The one thing that you have to remember with those dyno numbers is the TYPE of dyno being used. DynoDynamics dyno's are probably one of the best dynomometers out there. The numbers produced by these dynos cannot be "adjusted" to give the owner a bigger ego..
. They give the user true wheel power numbers. They automatically adjust to different altitudes so your session in one part of the country will roughly be .1 off the readings from another part of the country on the same car. I have an 05 G35 CPE 6MT. My stock numbers were similar to this dyno sheet. I'll try to find the dyno sheet to post but I think my numbers were HP: 221@6500 RPM and TQ: 213@2300 RPM. Dyno pulls done in 4th gear. I like going to these types of dynos for consistent readings. But the same can be done with others as long as you go to the same place and they don't change the "smoothing" setting, if they have them, that was used on previous runs.
I know this was a little long. Just thought I would share a little bit of info for my fellow G's and Z's out there. Peace

Dyno by itself doesn't mean much. It only matters when measuring increase or decrease from baseline (i.e. installing mods)
It is good for ballpark figure. Of course ballpark for a stock Z or G should be 225-240whp roughly
