Anyone put 06 headlights on a 04 coupe?? need to know asap!

Default Anyone put 06 headlights on a 04 coupe?? need to know asap!

the car is at inifinti for some repairs and i want to swap the 04 healights for the 06 projectors. i have had the servie manager tell me it is a direct swap, but parts is telling me that they wont fit. basically i've been getting the run around.

any feedback would help!

just buy new d2s and h1 bulbs

Then they'll replace them under warranty for FREE. Pay the difference of the 06 lights and there ya go. (Both of mine are like this)

PArts doesn't know what they are talking about. It should be a direct replacement the omly difference is you have to replace all the bulbs.

yes, it is a direct replacement. Quite a few peeps have done it over on G35driver.com

each dealer is different about swapping out for newer lights...btw the projectors are 70 cheaper than the older style reflectors for the dealers so they make money if they upgrade the lights...

Yes they fit I have them in my 04 coupe.

You will need these new bulbs:

D2S (HID bulb)
H1 (fog light)
168/194 (city light)
7440 (Blinker)

if you do buy them, just buy the light housing...grubbs had it for 700 for a pair

thanks everyone, i got my car back this past friday and yes the 06 were a direct replacement...thanks i just have to get the new bulbs.
