I will save the details, but when I mentioned to the salesmen I owned a Z he confidently said this car is faster. I kind of laughed and said I doubt the extra power compensates for the extra weight. Can't wait to see these on the street, so I can see what they are made of. Over all the car looks good, just not a fan of the tail lights.

Not that we will have official indication until the car hits the streets, but I haven't seen one test where an 07 G sedan would lose 0-60 or 1/4 mile to a Z.

That's why we are all very excited to have that engine in the Z

Some magazine just timed the new sedan w/auto trans @ 13.9 secs.......that is the same as the Z isn't it? I looked at one yesterday as well, and I like the new style to the aluminum trim, it's more brushed?
But same thing with the salesman, "this car is fast!! I got it a lil sideways when I drove it a few days ago" I thinking yeah whatever buddy.

The New G35 SEDAN 6MT is faster than the CURRENT 350z. I know many fanboys will say otherwise, but I just state the facts.

So far, all we can do is magazine race. But the fact that this car has been rated at 0-60 @ 5.2 seconds, 1/4 mile 13.9 is good enough for me to state my opinion.

Fastest ive seen a Z 6MT from a dig (magazine racing again) is 5.4, with most of them around 5.5

Bottom point is I guess we better wait till they hit the streets.

(Makes me wonder how fast the 2008 G35 coupe/ 2008 350z will be!!! )

True, but for the price of ~ $60,000+ , I'd rather get a Z06 [for 10k more] or add twins/supercharge the next Z/G

I really hate waiting Im too impatient.
