i know that the 06 has extra wieght over other years, where is it how can i take it out, whats the best steps to take to put the z on a practicle diet, ie, keeping factory sterio

 

You could get a carbon fiber hood and trunk to save 15-20lbs.

 

Take the spare tire out, another 20 pounds.

 

im trying to do it on a budget, like sound detoning, the spare is allready out and i think the driver seat may become a bride zeta 3 soon. or a cage with harneses, its a matter of wieght and safty

 

take out the carpets, you'll take off a few pounds. :P

Use Underpulleys, carbonfiber driveshaft, and carbon fiber hood/trunk.

Also can get lighter wheels too.

 

you sound like you arent willing to sacrifice to save the weight. dont bother... if you are talking about the sound detoning then just remove that and leave it....take out the back seat carpets automatic window modulaters ac..... thats good for a little weight. . .
