I was looking at the Infiniti website to see if the 2007s Coupes were out and noticed the 5AT only has 275HP and the 6MT has 293HP. Is this due to new HP measurement standards? I figured they would have put the 306HP 3.5L in the Coupe, or are they waiting for 2008 to do that?

 

correct.... the 07 has the same engine as the '06 and revised for the ne SAE ratings.

The 08 G Coupe is all-new. If you notice all the infiniti ads, you will see they no longer mention the 35 part, they just call it the "New G". They gotta compete with the 335 (which is a monster!)

Well the HR equipped G sedan is inching closer to the M3. Hopefully with 320-300 HP it would be about level with the outgoing M3/current 335.



Will need to drop half second off the 1/4 mile and add 3-5 MPH in the traps.


I think the new coupe is going to be gorgeous based off the concept photos. Seeing the updates they have done to the new sedan, makes me think the 08 coupe is going to be a very nice ride, indeed.

 

I'll have one on order... I just hope my stoptech's and TE37's swap over.

 

If they don't do something special with the next Z, I think the G coupe is going to steal some owners away.

 

yeah right, it'd be nice if the offsets were the same allt hese guys could swap over some nice rims.

 

Possible a 3.8L NA V6 on the 08 Cpe since the new GTR is expecting to have a 3.8L V6 TT??
And making about 330~350hp?
