I never knew it was blasphemy. I think the problem people tend to have issues with is that the G35 coupe is sharing it's JDM name with an established car the Nissan Skyline. As for Fairlady, it's always been part of the Z line. Maybe I shouldn't put that Bluebird badge on my old Altima.
Is that cause you have a G therefore there is some bias or do you really believe that you own a Skyline? Not a flame, just wondering your response.
You don't get the point, In Japan it is a "Skyline". Just like in Japan an NSX is Honda and here in the states it's Acura. If you go to Japan and buy what we calll here a "G35" it would be a "Skyline". However, your thinking of the Skyline GTR. No, it's not a GTR but you can look at it at any way you want to but in Japan its a Skyline. Just like the 350z is a "Fairlady Z" in Japan.

honestly i wouldnt badge my car as a skyline which is why my g35c is completly debaged besides the front grill. its like 240sx owners saying/badging there car as a silvia s13/s14. basicly the same car but sold on forign soil.
Not that I'm an expert, but video games and movies have made the R34 GTR the car everyone thinks of when they hear or see the name "Skyline" so when someone sees the Skyline badge on a G35 coupe, the uneducated person may feel that the G35 driver is a "poser." The Skyline name was on multipe cars in Japan: slow, fast, 2-door, 4-door, I don't even know how many there have been. The people that have negative feelings towards the skyline badge on a G35 coupe have no idea what they are talking about.
