Default Buying a G35 coupe soon. Need some help (ex s2k owner)

I'm selling my s2000 and as soon as it sells I will be looking to purchase a G35 coupe. I have some questions though.

What is the deal with the transmissions? I hear they have problems. Would it be wise to buy an auto over a 6spd?

Also, when looking at G's what are other things I should ask/look out for?

S2000's are great, but the only advantage they have over a G35 Coupe 6MT is their great, REALLY great transmission.

Dont expect a butter smooth transmission like the S2000's on the G35/350z.

I think your making a good choice by going from an S2000 over to a G35. It's definately a different image.

Make sure you get a 6 Speed... IMO, it's not worth getting an auto.

Also, just so you know, the 08 Coupe should be here in about 6 months.

if you are looking at a used one, oil consumption.

check the brakes, if your getting an 03/04 with 6 speed it will have brembos which are alot to replace. also the tires, since they are alot to replace

hope this makes you get one!
07 IP G coupe. 6spd is smooth but not smooth as an S2000. I think the S2000 has the smoothest 6psd ever.

all stock. Im looking to get camber kits but they are expensive as hell. So I might wait and save up for that and for now install my stereo system I have sitting around for months. I just need a box for my 12 inch sub.

I've heard of S2000's having low torque and all, but I doubt that'd be the reason.

There are no complaints about the automatic tranny. It's personal preference. I love my 5AT.
