Default 275/40-17 On a G35 6MT

Will they fit with the right offset both front and rear? Don't want a stagger. Want the same wheel front and back. What offset might I need? This is for a track tire combo BTW so don't knock the small size 17 inch wheel.

sedan or coupe? If its a coupe.....well, those are some really wide tires if you ask me for the front. Since you are going 17 inch, you may not need to roll your front fenders..but I don't know.

The 350Z guys seem to be going with this setup so it should be possible. I know the sedan uses a different offset but the 17x9's that the 350 guys are running use about a 20-25 offset

Sedan's CANNOT use G35 coupe or 350Z offsets and go beyond 245 tread widths.

275 will fit in the rear on sedan's with the correct offset, 45mm.

275 will NOT fit on the front of a sedan, no matter how you play with offsets or camber. The answer is a flat out no. Infiniti did not bless us with the front fender/wheelwell widths that the G35 coupe and 350Z have, so again it can't be done.

I have 255/40-18 RT-615's in the front on 35mm offset. They will clear until the tire get's about 3/4" above the top of the fender arch, then they bind on the plastic inner fender trim. They might clear with 5mm additional offset, which would work because their is enough clearance on the inside from the suspension upright.

A 265mm 17" may clear in the front with a 40mm offset and if you move the negitive camber inwards about .5 degree's. Thing is, if you search what you can get in a decent performance tire in 265 and 17", comes up kinda pricey and kinda dry. Either they aren't a tire worth installing, are too short in rolling diameter or they cost more then they should.

I am trying to find a non-staggered setup for HPDE/Autocross that is a universal size (read cheap and available). I don't think the car needs a stagger anyway, and I like rotating tires easily. I may go with a simple 245-45-17 then.

Looks like I could then also go with a 255/45(or 40)-17 as well.

Yeah asking for 275 all the way around I was pretty sure I knew what you were up to. For autocross you'll be better served by a non staggered setup, so agreed.

That will work, though you do have more choices in 245/45-17.
