Default still the G37 is not impressive as the previous generation (pics)

so i go to the infinit dealership to see the G37, to make things short

- Sales men agrees the car does look like a toyota Solara, and it doesnt really impress him

- the G35 had a much more unique look than the current G37 were it evoluted into a different car and out of the infinit look line

- the prototype still look better and more aggressive.

- Infiniti still appraised the 05 G35 premium package for 23K, and the salesman admits that the price fixed gurantee after lease is over is all bull crap

- the car is bubbly shaped and curvey (toyota features) the G35 design and look is lost

- the car is very comfortable with a nice interior

- the car fully loaded is about 42K

here are the pics.....

that chick looks pissed off in the first pic

hot... but pissed off. yours? she looks like a handful.

Edit: oh yea, the car. I saw a black one and thought it looked really good but im not sure. I really like the sqaured off rear end of the last gen, kinda had a R34 look to it. I think they should have continued along those lines. looks bubbly, not in a good way.

Its basically the rear end and quarter panels that have been softened up. The front end is way more aggressive tho

I really like it actually......Most previous G owners will say these kinds of things. I actually didn't like it when they first released the images, but it has definitely grown on me.

^ lol. Maybe she doesn't like the car?

Only thing I maybe... just might like better on the G37 is the headlight design. I'm not even 100% sure on that. But otherwise, I like the lines of the G35 a lot better. G35 seemed more classy, edgy. This screams Toyota/Mitsubishi design to me :-(. Give it a couple more years and it'll prolly grow on your like anything else.

yeah, she didnt like the car either!! lol

i can say this tho, it does grow on you, but the car has definately lost its G35 last generation look. it looks like a diff car now.

the g35 look was more european than anything, and thats why the car was successful, but this one is 100% japanese look, typical and very standard.

I still love the side view , but the front and back arent doing it at all for me . IMPO they ruined the looks of the car .

thats exactly what i said when i saw it

the side still has a G35 authentic look to it, and makes u appreciate the enhanced look they put into it.... but the back and the front totally changed the car.

the car is a mixture more than it is a definative look

I don't know why they softened and rounded the G up. Looks older now. Or rather, more for an older generation.

not really man, the G35 was a major HIT when it came out on the market...almost anyone from any age would agree the car looked very unique and different.

but this one..........not too sure about it

i don't think it'll grow on me. I like the G35 and 350Z right when I first saw it and didn't need it to "grow on" me. If I don't like the look of a car the first time, it's most likely that I will never like it. I think it lost almost all of the sporty look that the G had, but made up for it with the engine specs.

A new car should not be something that should have to grow on someone. If you don't like it when you first look at it, chances are it doesn't get much better........period.

didn't like the production pics - and didn't like the look in person (at Stillen viewing)... just not too impressed with this car... the wife or girlfiend in the OP post is way more worth looking at than the car

Quick Reply: still the G37 is not impressive as the previous generation (pics)
