Default G35 On the Dyno Solution to the Rev Limiter at 5300-5500 RPM Florida

This is a video showing that the solution to the RPM problems that some are having can be solved without using the UTEC tuning ECU. The VQ35DETT Can be tuned with any computer, Check out the video by clicking on the Picture Below. Leave a comment on what you think.

how many threads do you need to make for this?
https://my350z.com/forum/tuning/298052-g35-video-of-dyno-no-rpm-problems-5300-l-k-florida.html
https://my350z.com/forum/tuning/298575-g35-on-the-dyno-solution-to-the-rev-limiter-at-5300-5500-rpm-florida.html

were those two not good enough for you. Seems like your trying to promote a shop on here, have them become a sponsor.

Then all should be good. But cmon these type of threads your creating are redundant , also i have no clue with ur broken links and etc.

No UTEC required.

Lol... Go ahead and post this up in the FI section. You'll get owned in about 4.7 seconds... All you've done here is prove that you're a tuning n00b and that you don't have a clue about our cars. Do you really think that the Emanage Ultimate is superior to a UTEC? Go away troll...

BTW, what rev-limiter are you talking about? 5300-5500??? my G has 7200 rpm revlimit from Infiniti.

Greddy put the Blow off valve behind the Mass Air Flow. This is a Greddy Kit, just as it says it on the video. I notice a lot of negative comments and opinions that had nothing to do with the video. Its a video showing a mild tune without the use of a UTEC standalone. I am not saying that UTEC is not good, only that it is not the only system that can make power on the G35/350Z.

I'd still like to know what rev limiter you are talking about.

and why you created like 30 threads for this topic.

RevUp engines have a factory 7000rpm redline. From the factory, you can hit 7200 without hitting a limiter... Also, the UTEC is NOT a stand-alone EMS. At best, it could be considered a parallel. And resolution on the EU is pale in comparison to the UTEC - so once again I'll ask you to kindly crawl under a rock and stop posting about things you obviously know NOTHING about.

^ what he said. I was GOING to say that, but he beat me to it lol

it's all about the resolution. just like a big screen TV *****, if that helps you understand.

the difference between an eManage, Utec and Fcon is the 'HD display'. First up you have 520p (eManage) to a 720p (utec) to the 1080p (fcon).

now take those and then pretend that the resolution of the screen is not in pixels but in rpms and that instead of just getting a fuzzier picture with the 520p setting compared to the 1080p, you actually get a crappy idling and jerky engine instead.

Tengai, It is obvious that you have a UTEC by they way you write about it. I am sure that you must realize that I am not putting down any ECU systems or paralles. The UTEC is capable of solving the rev limiter problem that occurs at around 5300 to 5500 RPMs so it is a great solution. I am just stating that any system can solve the problem, not only UTEC. To some others on the net the UTEC seemed to be the only solution from what I have read. This is all that I am addressing, obviously you do not know of the problems that occur at 5300-5500 RPMs, so you may want to concider posting somewhere else where your knowledge may shed light on a subject.

Motormouth- HD displays and Big Screen TVs? Come on, you guys are wound up too tight...you have 350Zs and G35s be happy.

dude, I don't know what net you have been reading (deepsea fishing net?) but there are MANY MANY tuning options currently being used!.

the emanage is simply not on the level of the other offerings that are available, and AFFORDABLE. as you said, we are 350z and g35 owners and as such they want not only the best technology they can, but the smoothest driving car as well... more resolution and better tuners = smoother more oem ride.

we have roms, Fcon, Utec, motec, flashes, aem... etc... not just utec. more important than just the software is the tuners. if the tuners say that they are more comfortable and can ensure a better tune with a different comparable (price wise) unit, that is what I would pick any day of the week.. no tuner that I know of recommends the emanage. sure they could tune it if that's all you have.

simply the facts as I see them, also, take any things I say in jest, I am very happy and are just playing around. you come on here with a obviously skewed, incorrect vision of our community and what do you expect? but I like you.

and also, I would take Tengai's sig into account:

"Better to be silent and thought a fool, then to open your mouth and remove all doubt." - Abe Lincoln

what if tengai isn't running a Utec? I think he might be running an Fcon, so now what?
