PROJECT : BUILT VH45DE TT on a G coupe
Yep, Europe is a cointoss when it comes to snowfall. We used to go to Vermont and ski Pico and Killingoton back in the day but we got tired of getting hit by -20 degrees one min and then rain showers the next. Flip the order and you have some pretty bitter conditions.
ANyhow, here's a pic on the snowmobile today.

I am going for a few days to ride the board after the Christmas and there is hardly any snow in Europe.

Sorry bro, it was just too good of an experience to hold out and not throw up a pic!
Merry xmas to all!

not trying to bash or anything, just some constructive criticism, best of luck with the project
I actually spent alot of time figuring out which was the easiest way to route the piping. Since the motor is so tight on the G, there's really no straight forward way to bring the runners forward, so on the passenger side it has to go over the valve cover. Only way to get around that is to relocate the alternator or the A/C compressor and I'd rather compromise a little bit of performance at this time than spend a ton of money relocating accessories.
The tickness of the SS piping is going to be just fine. I used to work at another shop using the same materials and as long as the manifold is braced properly and you don't lift your heads and supercool the metal, they won't crack at all.
The motor mounts are super strong actually. They have a cross bace that's hard to see in the pics but I don't have a single doubt that they will hold anything and everything I can throw at them.
Manifold flow: No doubt about it, its not the best. However, at this time, the project needs to take off ASAP and I can't keep dumping money blindly into the build. Just to give you an idea, it would have cost a good $2400 for equal length manifolds and I wouldn't even be certain they would fit since the motor hasn't been dropped in the car.
Any criticism is welcome here. Plase stay tuned, since I can't wait to put all my parts to the test.

Could be that it flows well enough to reach your power goals so no big deal, but I think the hp/$ gain would be huge with a bit of modification.
I will eventually come out with better turbo manifolds. However, a very big name in the industry already took a good look at them and said "it will still make 1000 HP, no problem". This person owns a few sub 9 second cars.
mmm, maybe a treadie

again, i don't mean to bash, but i agree with the other guy, this does not look like it will flow 1000 hp

ahhh unfortunately I have to omit a few key names and steps since I'm not putting together a V8 swap DIY... then any monkey will be quick to grab a wrench and try to dulicate my swap and contact my sources for it. Just like my friends that documented their 2jz-gte is300 swap and everyone went out and tried to do it themselves...
No worries about who it was. I feel far too commited to the people who have been following my build from the get-go to start making things up.
But hey, if it makes you feel better, if I fail to make 1000 hp in the near future, you non-believers can come down on me and call me out.
If you guys wanna see nicer manifolds, then I will gladly accept donations and sponsorships. Actually, only donations since I refuse to sport anyone's name on the car at the time.
Have some faith tiny grasshoppers!
Because unfortunately Getrag doesn't make transmissions for our motors.
Best manual nissan tranny readily available is the VG and it ony comes in a 5 speed.
The VQ tranny is a pile of $hit since the syncros can't hold up to a quick shift. Especially 5th gear!
