has anyone ordered an exhaust from gruppe-s? I'm asking because i ordered an exhaust from them Dec.20th 07 and its still not here!! they said the exhaust would be here late January early Feb. I've contacted them and stuff but they keep delaying it, saying their "container shipment" from japan didn't leave yet and it takes a week to go through customs. Should i be worried that they F*** me? Man i want my exhaust already!!

 

Customs coming from Japan can take forever, in general. It took my Amuse exhaust 4 months (they had to make it as well).

I have a Fuji from Gruppe-S now, luckily they had it in stock. Got it fairly quickly.

I ordered my evo2 from them. Great people. Total process took about 2-1/2 weeks. No issues though.

 

I've ordered two exhaust systems from them. They are honest, good people -both systems arrived within days. One of them had a small dent due to packing at the factory. They offered to replace it or knock $50 off of the price. I chose the latter and they credited my account and sent me a Gruppe-S t-shirt as a good will gesture. If you feel uncomfortable, ask for a refund. I'm sure they'll be glad to do whatever it takes to make you happy.

 

im pretty sure they won't allow a refund on special order items like every other vendor, but gruppe-s is a pretty big vendor for our community and I would not worry at all. From my experience, shipments coming from a containment in japan usually takes longer than their estimate..

 

i got my springs/spring installation at gruppe-s... they are pretty legit. i wouldn't worry too much about it

 

i was interested in this exhaust from them as well. I contacted them and they told me late Feb. early March for there container...sounds to me like they are being honest...

 

Ordered test pipes from them without any issues.

 

Parts from Japan WILL have delays. Gruppe-S has no control over it. I've ordered parts that take 3 weeks less than what I was told and I've ordered parts that have taken 3 months longer than what I was told. **** happens.
