Need help with a intake idea..
Ok I have a G35 Coupe. I have the 350z tube with the Stillen High flow intake. I like the Stillen but dont like the 350z tube. It looks to OEM for me. I found a diffrent tube made out of Aluminum. Is this a problem? Im not realy sure but im kinda conserned with heat and rust.. I know other intakes are made out of Stainless Steel. What will be the main diffrence??
If this is not a good idea does anyone else have any ideas or products for me to look at?
Thanx in advance..

The plastic is the most efficient, but if you liek the aluminum, I will send you 45.00 plus shipping for the tube. Been looking to pick one up myself and don't feel like spending 80 or 100 for something I made out of metal for nothing.

SNolden do you have a picture?
The plastic is effective but not as much as you think IMO. Since I have the Stillen High flow box which is like a short ram intake. The distance between the filter and the Throttle body is like 2.5 feet and at the speed of the air flow ( especially since its a ram air with fresh are getting pounded through the filter and through the tube.. I feel there is no time to change the air tempature. Also the plastic gets hot also. Im sure not as much as the metal one but hot enough.. Also the 350z tube has ridges on the inside where the pipe bends. That is not very good for airflow.. Does this make any sence to you car gurus? If not please set me in my place thanx..
I bought the Stillen intake cause its the best IMO with the heat cover. The only problem with it is that it doesnt come with a intake tube. So us G35 people put the 350z tube in the OEM intakes place. Cause the 350z tube has no resignators in it..
