Default Forged Performance: 2011 G37 IPL Bolt On Upgrades

Today we had a customer bring his low mileage, mint condition 2011 G37 IPL from Chattanooga Tennessee to our Marietta Georgia location to have some first-round bolt-on modifications installed. The owner purchased his car back in December and has managed to keep it absolutely spotless yet bone stock. After almost a year he decided it was overdue for some personalization to set it apart from the rest of the stock G37's on the road. We installed the following:

• Stillen Gen 3 Dual Intakes
• Stillen Grounding Kit
• Samco Radiator Hoses
• Greddy Oil Filler Cap
• Greddy Radiator Cap
• JDM Tail Lights
• GT Spec Strut Tower Brace

Because this specific ECU ROM file is not yet supported, Sharif downloaded the factory ROM file and it's being processed by UpRev as we speak. In a week or so, we'll invite the customer back for an FP Spec Custom Dyno Tune.

I like the new shiny parts

Def interested to see the after-tune numbers on an IPL.

I love the car and the new shiny parts.
I hate the price tag on a brand new IPL. Way too over-priced IMO.

Interested in results with a tune.

don't think that is what he was insuating. Think he was referring to the fact that if you aren't dropping big bucks for FI install or way overpaying for a simple bolt-on install, you're kind of ignored.

A few people have this misconception about us, and it's typically those that have had no actual direct experience with Forged. We aren't perfect, and if you feel we ignored you then I want to hear about it. Send me a PM.

And like yourself, you've been to our shop and know that's not true. We always work in small jobs, like exhaust, intakes, clutches, best we can. We also offer something that costs our customers nothing...advise. I can't begin to tell you how many people call me and the guys asking for help with this and that, even though purchases were made elsewhere. We always help whenver possible. I stop and talk to everyone I can that comes through our shop, even if I am doing 16 different things and behind schedule.

We are having our open house on Sat Nov 5, with free catered world class BBQ, drinks, DJ, and raffles. Hopefully we'll see many of you there...everyone is invite and I do mean everyone. In fact, Z1 usually shows up each year...it's a bit of a tradition.

I'm one of these people. When shopping around for my Stoptechs, I must have spent collectively over an hour (maybe two) on the phone with Forged guys having questions answered. They never tried to rush to get off the phone and were fully informative. I certainly didn't hide the fact that I was shopping around either.

I ended up finding a used (but new) kit on the forum for $1000's less than new, so my business obviously went elsewhere. After I got the kit, I still called back with a couple of questions, informed them I had found a kit on the forum and they still had no reserves in answering my questions. No issues here.

That's a great looking car...agreed that's its over priced though. In for tune numbers.

(I recently bought a shift **** from Forged and love it

Sharif @ forged and Adam @ z1 are the most helpful
People I've never met. Assuming anything else just
demonstrates how little you know.
