Which one G37xS 7AT with GTM TT or Audi S4 AT?
Greetings:
I am curious to know which one will have a better acceleration time (0-60 and 1/4), 2012 G37xS 7AT with 500HP TT kit (GTM or other) and everything else stock (engine and tires) or 2012 Audi S4 AT stock. In other word, would you rather get the G37xS and TT it or a stock S4? I am leaning toward the G37xS due to its reliability, more features for the money (bluetooth, backup camera etc) and maintenance cost in the long run (I've heard that Audi is not reliable, its maintenance is very costly and it's very difficult to repair) as one of them will be my daily driving and I want to drive it to the ground. My average mileage is about 12k/year. I like AWD, AT, under 5.0s 0-60 sport sedan stock or with after market turbo, and under $50k new.
Thanks for your time and help.

Odd question, but a G37 TT'd would be faster than a stock S4 in the 1/4. (0-60 s4 might be close) But for reliability, you would have to take care of it. 12K/year sounds like a daily driver so driving that 500hp car around daily might not be as reliable in the long run as you think. Unless you drive conservatively.

I would be looking at the relevant questions like:
- How many miles are on the trip meter?
- Have the tail light bulbs been changed recently?
- What's that over there?
Most importantly:
- What does the SRT-4 forum think of this?
These are the questions.

Yes, I would like to spend $50k (trade in + $25k down payment + 4 years finance) on a reliable AWD, 6 or 4 cylinders, AT sport sedan, as fast as or preferably a bit faster than S4. I am undecided between an after market TT kit on an Infiniti or a stock S4. I need help to choose the right car as I have to keep it for as long as I can.
Forgive me if I am wrong, but I have a feeling that I am posting something wrong or upsetting some of you. I do apologize if my question is unclear or upset someone. It is unintentional.

Read the FI for noobs sticky. The first mod to accompany FI on a NA car, is another car to serve as your DD. You will no longer be able to take your FI'd car to a local dealer or mechanic. I recommend you stick to a stock car that can be serviced by a local dealer if you really need a daily driver.

EDIT: By the way, I daily drive my car when it isn't under the knife for more mods or ongoing maintenance. It's been fairly reliable and I drive it most of the year. But that's meant learning how to do almost all maintenance myself, buying all sorts of tools, including installing a four post lift into my garage, and being prepared to ship across state lines ($600 each way) and being out of commission for weeks to months when I run into something I cannot handle.
